They will have to let it test 2p soon. Conservatively JAN have 235k ounces on an inferred basis. That's assuming the 50.1% option is taken on Paranaíta and today's announcement all goes through. That could increase significantly though if they get the 1m ounces they are targeting at Paranaíta and fully explore new acreage announced today. The current market cap looks way off as a result .

I did indeed take a loss on some Wecap shares recently to trade JAN from 1.5p to 1.8p. I still hold more at an average of 2.03p but accept that level won't be seen again here and wipeout now looks likely. If it is true, which I doubt, that you bought in around 11th January then you are also sitting on a loss. Unlike you I don't take enjoyment in seeing people lose money so I hope genuine holders who post honestly here get their money back.

Whether the shares cannot be sold until November does not matter though. There is a charge on them and Hawk can take the exposure and realise it in November. Unfortunately derampers have left Wecap in a very bad position in terms of market cap. They cannot raise more than 125k without calling an EGM either. It will need goodwill from Hawk to resolve which isn't certain.

I am a bit concerned that one does protest too much. Hope you haven't gone in too deep now you are suddenly changing your tune.

Have you been on Companies House yet? If they default on the bond they have 21 days to correct the situation or Hawk can take all or any items under charge. Listed under charges are all investment held = all the Weshop shares.

@HarChris your post at 1047, as I believe you are alluding to, that scenario would be pretty unusual I think, there wouldn’t seem much benefit to anyone out of it. As you suggest, an extension in May more likely.

I think this bb becoming a little more realistic now in terms of price targets and timeframes which is good to read. These prices are cheap, and I do think they’ll keep getting cheaper for a while yet👍🏻.

You can't win them all as I said. Wecap is bust. Debt = more than the assets. Companies Hosue says Hawk has a charge over all assets. They haven't extended the bond and now it is too late.

I would expect a much bigger spike in the run up to drilling anyway. Personally hoping for 2p on IPO and towards 10p during drilling. Then it's a case of if you are brave enough to hold for results or derisk.

Suspect some big buys are going to come through soon. Must be more than what has been published so far. Wouldn't like to guess where this will go on IPO and run up to drilling but more than 1p!
