It's tough one after today. Part of me wants the current management team kicked out quite frankly. The share price is now lower than it was when we got the AD Ports news which we waited years for. A placing for 10p would have been better than the ongoing funding deal they have done. They have trashed the share price and probably put some off of the company for good. However Zanaga is still the 5th biggest iron ore mine in the world being valued at less than 50m though and there is more activity both company wise and BRICS wise than there has been for a long time. It will be probably come good but it's been a very bad dad and feels unforgivable to have caused such a volatile sp reaction.

I would like to think there was a reason other than the management team are totally incompetent.

Does feel like back to square one. Hard not to be angry at the management team. I think Trahar should be replaced at the very least by someone who actually replies to Investor Relations emails. The funding deal has obviously gone down badly with many.

Thanks, there must be an NDA in play, I will do a bit more research this evening. 28% down now. OUCH. Not a good day at all, let's hope we bounceback. Volume over 3m by the end of the day seems likely.

Who is the Chinese technical iron ore expert mentioned. Did some research and think it could be these. Note the Vale connection.

I have some sympathy with the get the asset auctioned off comment. There will be so many stakeholders involved in a sale though. RoC will have a very big say in who controls Zanaga. If they want China that's where it will go. Likewise the Middle East. We all just want a deal done and I do think ZIOC know that. I would imagine the inbox is smoking this morning! Take advantage of the drop and keep your conviction in the stock imo.

Personally think the drop is overdone. Just logging on now. We have had tangible news with the port and what's happening in the middle east. The rise was not all made up. Like always people want a deal today but I think these things take time in the background and go beyond the experience of most of us unless we have any M&A professionals on here.

Sitting here mulling it over with a coffee. All sorts of angles to consider. I made my mind up to take another 100k when I log on in a bit. In my last discussion with AT I did feel there were discussions going on and I also know for a fact that options were put in front of Glencore in the past but they didn't take them. That shows Glencore won't let Zanaga go cheaply. It's been a lot of silence ever since. I have not had replies to any emails for many months now.

The port comments seem a bit out of date in the RNS. All to play for and the low ball thing cross my mind too Shaun. They make a point of potentially not needing all of the funding.

I agree. I would like to increase my holding here in time but depends on other positions currently open.

Big Den lol. Does look like he is involved when it comes to strategic deals and sign off. I was reading about ENI overnight. If a deal is done with Zanaga, it would likely be a similar process.

Looks like AT was at the London Indaba event today discussing Africa mining resources and funding. He was on a discussion panel. Google London Indaba and the agenda is on there.

For 500m they will want something to ship, that's for sure!

Not fearful because if you look at the rise, it just shows what will happen when not if a deal is done :) Anyway off to start my evening of Google research.

Have a read back on the posts here about joining the dots. Market cap is still tiny for a mine this size and less than what has been spent on it in the past by Xstrata. Just in recent months, we have a new UAE embassy in ROC, AD ports port deal, Vale building steel hubs in Middle East. ROC President being given use of Arab private jets. If you think the mine stays idle forever don’t buy.If you think it will be developed and that time is coming based on the above, the current share price should not be a worry.
