I think people are worried about the number of shares on issue, it makes it extremely difficult to make anything out of a share that is constantly diluted. At the present stage somebody could come in a wipe 200,000.000 of them and it would barely panic the market

Now I am concerned, they appear to be hell bent upon obtaining loans based upon shares . The result is a sock in the eye for private investors. It was the private investors that held the company together in the past . UKOG do not care about the number of shares on issue because they can always consolidate the shares to clear up the mess. I sincerely hope now that a large company moves in a buys them up

The prospects. on information that is known, indicate that is a good as you can get, but the downfall is that there are too many cheap shares on issue. On a good day perhaps 3 million shares change hands but we need to see that in the order of hundreds of millions of shares purchased to make a good impact because there will always be profit taking on the way up by the millions of PI owned shares

I assume that you are aware of the law. If you accuse somebody of 'fixing' something, then you have to have observable and legally acceptable proof that they done as you allege. If you cannot furnish proof then you could be sued for liable. Many people lose on shares that is the nature of the beast you can win you can lose . That does not make it a fix if you lose, it probably means bad luck you have backed it at the wrong time. Good luck next time

Seems to be an awful lot of pushy opinions in here at the moment. The truth is nobody knows, not even the company at the moment how this is going to pan out, when the company knows they will tell us ....its simplees really. But, a real truth is that prices suggested of 5pps must be a little optimistic. I forget the action number of shares on issue , it is about 6 billion ? So somebody who brought 2,000,000 shares at a 1pps would be daft to hold on to them if it got to 3pps. So this share is set to yoyo because there are so many cheap shares out there . It may eventually trend upwards, but they will have consolidated by then

Looking at the blue on Friday afternoon, it appears that many punters are hoping for a good RNS on Monday., would have thought Thursday onwards, but its all guesswork anyway

IMO it smacks of being 'insider' to me . This company has a massive credit with UKOG and suddenly it wants to convert a part of the loan to buying shares in UKOG . IMO, it could reasonably be assumed because of their special status this company would be party to up to date news and expectations of the current explorations.

Seeing some of the chatter earlier. Problem with Corbyn is that he is a sincere sounding person. But, regrettably for him and the country you need entrepeneurs to tax to pay for what he wants, and if the entrepreneurs are now all gone to live live in Spain or Nassau he is going to run out of people to tax. Except the already taxed lower paid. As for another referendum, you can only have one referendum. anything more opens the door to asking for a third referendum , and a fourth and so on . And those claims will come about if he tries to inflict another

I would say that they are cautiously optimistic that the SP is set to rise and outstrip what they could obtain from interest on the loan. Bearing in mind the money that they had available it shows caution . Of course this company is probably also party to special arrangements re prospects and results obtained so far. So, it is a bit of a boost of confidence in the shares overall

I wouldn't put too much credibility into it. These companies are on the constant look out to make money all of the time on their investments. That is their job, if they have holdings in UKOG and it appears that they will not make money for a month or two or six !, then they will reinvest elsewhere from which they can get an earlier return. Don't forget while they are invested in UKOG it is an asset frozen in time and they wish to make money every day, otherwise the investments Managers will lean on the Fund Managers and ask them why they are not making money

It has to be ground breaking news enough to get more buyers than profit takers but even buyers will become profit takers as the price rises. The shares are simply too cheap for anything else

I don't think that there are many of these in an AIM site . There is a distinct feeling though, that we are on the edge of something great but it will be a long haul upwards because there will be profit takers (well that is what they are in here for) which will make the SP a bit of a roller coaster as it climbs

What the press does not record in these events is the scarcity of support . Thus we are shown a photograph of 50- or -60 people demonstrating, whereas those likely to be affect in the local area probably numbers around 200,000. Thus a clear majority were not demonstrating

Hi Phil, I believe the number of shares on issue does matter because to reduce the number out there they will eventually consolidate, my bet is at 50:1. Of course your shares will still be of the same value but if you suddenly find that you have only 2,000 shares instead of 100,000, it kind of reduces ones expectations a little and takes the fun out mini rises

Ramping ? I very much doubt that there are anyPIs in here that could actively ramp or deramp. IOM, you need credibility and a large share portfolio to do either . Bill Blogs saying ' I'o fink that this share is going to Norf of Souf is hardly going to rock the market . People pick up these stock market terms and requote them generally to impress others with their knowledge of S and S . You probably really need a column in the investment pages of a national newspaper to ramp or deramp

Robone ? JayKay. Don't worry about it, the internet permits idiots and the intelligent alike to inform the world of their opinions. I am afraid that the only requitable information is what is contained in UKOF's RNS's, any thing else is conjecture. Moreover, share dealing companies employ literally hundreds of people, who sit before computers 8 hours per day and those computers are sampling movements in the markets a million times per share per minute. So Whally Smith sitting at his lap-top for thirty minutes is not likely to have any information of value at all. Although some seem to be able to convert rumour into fact in their own minds and quote it as if it were insider information :))
