Kat, that it goes down is possible, but probable is that it goes up multiples from here. If we talking about statistics and probabilities I see the fundamentals showing only one thing and that is way up. Could be wrong but positioned my portfolio that I am right

The robots are coming

Firstly China has a shrinking population with birth rates hitting an all time low point. In order to maintain their production led economy they will need to make a huge move to automation in their production facilities as the work force shrinks. Automation means industrial robotics, which means more demand for Neodymiim magnets.

The second leg is Humanoid robots where again China will take the lead. Again big demand for Neodymium magnets.

Robots and robotics means China will need more of their REE for their own value adding production and that means less to be offloaded in international markets.

On top of robots we have drones that have become huge in military operations. China has snd will continue to have a huge drone arsenal and again huge demand for their own REE

I am convinced that China restrictions on REE is nog just to show other countries their dominance but is also driven by what they see as huge upcoming inyetn demand.

Our Technology driven age has changed the fundamentals for Neodymoum. Yhe works cannot rely solely on Chinese supply and must develop furhet mining and processing. Recycling is also a key part of how this all needs to be managed with Hypromag sitting in a sweet spot there.

And Kat a final comment. I am a CFO and can tell you it is not the most crucial of roles especially when comes from a financial control focus. The key are CEO and operations management. Fir sure this is the case with a developing business such as MKA

As a CFO myself I read a few things into the change of CFO and corporate development officer

Mkango is in need of a negotiator, somebody that can raise finance on a global scale and has a deep understanding of export financing schemes as well as public listing. The outgoing CFO has most likely more of a financial control focus and has not been exposed to what Mkango now needs. The company now looks to breach thus gap by appointing a CFO with a more funding and capital markets focused background as well as the corporate development officer.

A couple of weeks ago I emailed MKA, described my background and holdings, asked that there is an improvement in communications. Probably just coincidence, but today we have the information on the new communications strategy

The proposed futures contract is of huge importance to rare earth miners and NdPr oxide producers outside China. I have previously referred to Uranium and how the industry was changed with the development of long term contracts diverging from market spot prices and giving confidence to miners and their lenders.

This futures contract is a step to give NdPr similar certainty. The US minimum price support started the thinking around this but that is something subject to policy and not sustainable. Things are now moving in the right direction, market mechanisms that will give hedging possibilities and more confidence. Once this is up we will also see producers and buyers entering into their own fixed price long term contracts and thereby avoiding costs related with hedging.

I am getting very excited by these development. They come at the right time for the MKAR SPAC and if I were MKA management I would be looking to see how the scale of the Pulawy separation plant can be increased and combined also with a Hypromag recycling facility so that recycled and original ,materials can be blended and maximum use made of the Songwe HREE
