I have read a great deal, listened to news reports and radio - just like many here, and the lack of even a mention of antibody testing ( note: any serious journalist would ask the question of how will this new vaccine roll out be monitored and its success measured) is astounding.
Its like the word antibody testing has been deleted from the English vocabulary - where six months ago it was everywhere.
Someone more knowledgeable than me should ask Sky news to have a look into how this vaccine rollout will be monitored and measured so that individuals can be confident they gave the required response to have the confidence of being protected etc etc . Its wall to wall vaccine this morning.... they can surely justify a piece on this important part of the rollout process.

I still don't really understand how after vaccinating say 100,000 people, they will be able to measure the variety of antibody response in these people , and any variances in age and ethnicity groups for example...how they going to measure this rollout....and its success rate....or will they just take original trial test results by Pfizer as evidence enough.
If i had the vaccine today, i would really want to know that after two weeks or so - my body had developed enough antibody's to protect me . Doesn't anyone want to check that the vaccine is doing what it should , and with all age groups etc etc . If i had the jab a few weeks ago , i would certainly want to know whether it was a success or not....whether i was protected so to delver confidence to be able to resume my pre Covid life again.

Another example here of a country ( Bangladesh) beginning to rollout LFT Antigen testing first, and waiting on the antibody testing .

What i find quite exciting is this bit about "integrate with NHS systems and update records".

I have found reference to this on Abington and CIGA documents in past.
Does anyone have a view on why this APP exists? The government must have been asked for one to be built - from the initial ABC contract !

No one in their right mind would choose this vaccine in normal circumstances- its going to be a nightmare to distribute and ensure quality control....but the UK government moved quick to score a point or make a point....other vaccines including Oxfords that looks very good - will be out in New Year and the government will discreetly drop this one, and replace with others....the public won't notice or care.... a lot of gamesmanship going on to ............being first in something does not always make a winner.

Followed by a relative massive hike in production of several million units per week by Spring......who's overstating the production...as investors were following the company's lead.......who do we believe?
