Charlie. Small life if you have to use a message forum to get a cheap dig in. Thanks to others for the link.
I own some of these (700k odd) from an old placing that I was holding for tax loss offsets but there looks to be something going on here . Do you have a link for the Telegram Group please ?
They sold 1,837,500,000 shares at 0.2p raising 3.675m
Mebzz..on what platform?
Malik. Am just looking through your earlier numbers.."Now trading on (2022 basis):
*c3x PE
*2.2x EBITDA
*>20% normalised cashflow yield
*financial assets, incl BTC held, tax credit + cash worth >30% of mcap" .
The MCAP is £544MM. Their BTC plus cash portfolio is worth roughly £55mm. Their 2021 revenues are likely to be in the order of £70-80mm. Their 2022 revenues more like £100-120mm . They hold 25% in Pluto which is probably worth £3mm once they IPO together with their warrant. This valuation may be significantly more than this given their stakes in Protocol and YOP platform . If 40% of BTC mining comes from the Chinese province with the electricity blackout then given the view of wanting a decentralised Crypto then ARB is in a good place to benefit particularly with the view of chasing more eco-friendly power sources for the rigs. Questions for you..what is the size of the tax credit you mentioned? How do you get to your PE and EBITDA numbers?
HarChris. ETF's will enable a wider audience and more investors into BTC, ETH etc. Pension Funds and more Institutional Investor will also have access. It means there is no need for a Grayscale type vehicle any longer so no wonder they are also applying to be an ETF to convert their Investment Trust. It may mean less Cryptocurrency is held on exchanges when you can buy an equivalent ETF directly..more transparency, less risk of fraud. It opens up the whole asset class to a wider audience, If you invest £10k then they will purchase futures or hold an equivalent amount of Bitcoin yes.
That's why I love it..Kid's ISA's have 18 years to run..you can take risk.
Piled more into family ISA's today. I don't know of many other opportunities that could do 5-10* in 5 years than KEFI. Happy to just tuck away.
What better company to put some of kid's ISA's in than KEFI? Over a 5 year time horizon this has the potential to trade to high teens. Copper, Gold, inflation. Both projects look massive and aren't many years away from production.
What ****e timing to come out at 5p when this traded at 15 p within the last 6 months . Is this a good placing at 5p when we were trading at 8p recently? "Only at 60% discount to that level" . My gran would buy at that level..
Maybe not if up 13% ..does someone know something? Why the rally now?
h4mmered I expect the valuation of Leap to contribute significantly more than £15MM..that was a base case. Same with Juvenescence . This also doesn't take account of any growth in the CBD market which I expect to do well over the next 18 months. The Company is on the ground early in CBD and there will be lots of add on investments that will bring more cash to the table from those future deals. You rarely find an AIM share that is trading at such a discount to NAV. Look at some of these ludicrously priced SPAC deals like Wildcat...
If Leap is worth £15MM plus, Juvenescence £3MM plus, Yooma, LGP, £3MM , Portage £3M, Cash and cash equivalents £13MM and a few of these are being realised this year then easy to see 20p plus in the short term here.
I don't get this SP. This is rapidly becoming my biggest holding on AIM. MCAP £19MM . Cash and cash equivalents over £13mm, leaves all other holdings worth £6MM? Leap I believe £10MM plus on its' own. Add in the CBD names that's another £5MM plus minimum. Why would you sell at this level to me ?
£7.5MM cash and £5.75MM cash equivalents Ed mentions. You can increase your Cash MCAP calc..
What has caused this latest spike from 43 to 51?
Loads of value here for the medium term. Assets held at book cost, loads of cash , some great money release to come this year out of some of the existing investments and a leveraged play in CBD at ground level pre IPO. Just released 25% of the cap in cash . Why are people moaning on here? I'm buying.
tradedesk.. It wasn't forward sold. It was just a discounted placing. Mostly taken by Institutional Holders and some HNW with sticky hands so don't expect much to come out post placing. With Oil heading to 80 plus this is a little gem.
Every new 1p barrier higher we take out more profit takers just leads to more support in the dips to build a stronger base.
