neilmc..When you buy shares with a bid offer spread, if you buy at a price closer to the bid than the offer, the system reflects it as a Sale FYI. For example spread 1.90-2.05. If the market makers have stock then you might be able to buy at 1.96 which would be shown as a Sale. That’s why just looking at the screen rolls of trades is only a small part of the picture.

TBH with all the off book trades we don't really know the volume of buying and selling going on. Maybe some of the warrant holders that had already exercised sold some into the rally, maybe the placement brokers sold some of their shares, maybe the three large holders as per the company website reduced or added further . There may be new buyers to be announced over the 3% limit. I'm sure we will see more warrants exercised but we saw that in GGP on the way up. And even if some are exercised, it doesn't mean those shares will be sold anytime soon . I'm happy either way having sold some shares sub 2p over the last few weeks on the spike . If we get a further retracement, I will buy some back. If not I'm a happy holder.

theyknowitall...There is no RNS for warrant conversion so I don't think it is any warrant related selling. Most of the warrants were done with TP and they don't allow forward selling.

shaun86. The company will also have a cash buffer as warrants are exercised. This will add close to £1mm to the cash total on top of the £1.25mm fund raise.

Makesome. I had a lot of shares in GGP at an average of 2p. I sold most of them with an average of 6.5p. That's a good example of cashing in too early as the shares topped out at 25p. Fortunately I did get involved in all three Alien placements over the last year so feel like I have made some of that opportunity loss back...and I won't be selling this one too early.

Remember shares were issued at 0.15p and a very small number at 0.08p so the real move here has been 8* the return (nowhere near 17*). The placement at 0.08p was very small and you couldn't really get any volume down at that level. The warrants issued at the 0.15 and 0.30 levels have been keeping a lid on the upside until we have seen the size of these converted diminish recently. These extra shares were capping the market and now we have worked through them we get the decent bounce as per today. Remember the company is now well funded so there's no danger of a placement any time soon either.

Wilson83. The SP has gone from 25 to 90 in two and a half months. You are bound to get some profit taking at 3.5* stake .

Updated Warrant post: The Alien Metals website update was in July so ,given the warrant exercises since then, there are still 321mm warrants outstanding with the majority maturing in 2022 and 2023. These should raise an extra £697k when exercised (approx) providing more funding over the next year or so and reducing the need for further capital raising. Given how long-dated they are there is no rush to convert these warrants..they are like free options to us holders.

These should raise an extra £700k when exercised (approx) providing more funding over the next year or so and reducing the need for further capital raising. The shares resulting from warrants being exercised have capped the upside until now as we broke up above 0.70 but I believe we have seen the initial rush of people cashing in and the majority of the warrant holders now are happy to see more SP upside.

666x .Warrants tend to get exercised in rising markets so most holders wait for strong spikes and then choose to exercise their warrants.Once they get exercised , the equity sits there like a normal share holding so there's no reason to sell as there is no expiry date at that point. In the case of Alien we have had two relatively low warrant issues at 0.15 and 0.3 (share placements at 0.08 and 0.15) so in recent spikes I believe many of the placement equity holders have sold their positions and are just holding warrants. Some have chosen to exercise the warrants thus just replacing their original position (of which some have now sold their shares), some are still holding the warrants (like me because it's still a long time to warrant expiry) and I still think there's a lot of upside to come.

Working Capital Facility Agreement

Xtract has signed today an agreement with the Lender for a facility of £1,000,000. The Facility is unsecured, interest free and can be drawn down in three tranches as follows

· £350,000 to be drawn down from 1 November 2020 or within 6 months of the drawdown date ("Loan Tranche 1");

· £350,000 to be drawn down from 1 January 2021 or within 6 months of the drawdown date ("Loan Tranche 2"); and

· £300,000 to be drawn down from 1 May 2021 or within 6 months of the drawdown date ("Loan Tranche 3").

The base case for investment is still here. Production and cash flow as per TW original points . Now the bucket funding has been done (TW wanted to go down the loan route not dilution from memory) the upside still remains. It doesn't look good that some Novum accounts may have short sold into this issue and that should be looked at , but going forward there is significant upside to be had . Have added here at 1.27.

I doubled my stake this morning in this name. Positive write up from TW over the weekend suggesting this could be a ten bagger in two years time. .

Let's say I bought into this share for my Fund at 14p in the placing a year or so ago and managed to take a good turn taking profit on 5.2mm shares at 61.5 average in yesterday's spike . I like the business case but the price was getting a bit overcooked so I took some off the table. If I then watched the shares collapse in half I would be tempted to start adding again . Just saying...reminding others that Institutional buyers can buy as well as sell..

jdt1990 . It's not designed for home use..they said that yesterday. Businesses, sports stadiums, railway stations can have readers so you can go about your daily life relatively normally with a green pass.
There's a lot of noise on this chat but same as yesterday, I added more today. 2-3 year outlook this will look cheap IMO.
