These warrants mature between Jan 22 and May 23 so there is no rush to convert these (long expiry date and holders have shares from the two placings earlier this year anyway so can top slice those).

By my reckoning we have had 338m warrants converted since the last Alien Metals website update. Nearly all the warrant holders received them when they put in for the two placings earlier this year and they have sat on shares and warrants. I would think the top slicing is done there by selling some of their shares and then people are happy to sit long warrants.

Interesting that only 7.5mm were issued from share options/warrants versus the last RNS of 83mm shares . Suggests the new pricing range (over 1.4p ) is not leading to a further rush to convert to shares. This relatively small amount comes to market on 5th November but can equally be sat on by the holder now they have converted.

Daibando good points, well made. I wouldn't discount also that Commodity and Food shortages are being caused by Covid too. Many crops were burnt instead of picked because there weren't enough migrant helpers to help out at harvest time. How many mines are going slow or are on freeze due to local restrictions? There's the economic mess that is creating demand for Precious metals and also the physical closure of mines .

What's going on..has the horse bolted? It's good to see some stability to the SP . I think everyone who offloaded yesterday is trying to buy with a 1.40 handle to add back..Core markets are stabilising ahead of the U.S Elections and we know we'll get a big rescue package soon as more helicopter money appears. Markets may have a relief rally here post elections.

ETW . That's a fair point but Alien is not a one trick pony. Don't forget the iron ore from Brockman and Han**** Ranges in the Pilbara, Los Campos and San Celso silver projects in Mexico and Platinum and Palladium potential in EH ( as well as the Silver). Your workings puts zero valuation on these projects.

If some were buying in the morning at 1.40p then 25% profit in a few hours post RNS probably looked too enticing. Others may have bought a few days ago at 1.70ish expecting a quick bounce and broke even. But the upside is there is a building line of support at 1.40-1.50p area in dips.

Max . Also few people ever talk about CGT on here. The 2020 tax year has been very good for Aim Stocks with multi bags in names like GGP, N4P, Erris, Avacta, NCYT, UFO , Integumen , KEFI, Pensana Rare Earths , Midatech , VLS, BOIL, TOOP, EAAS to name a few . Bitcoin too. If you have these in ISA's all well and good but outside of ISA's , people are sitting on big Capital Gains . You may well see people holding on to stock for longer than they might normally , at least over the next tax year in April 2021 before some of those gains are crystallised to help reduce CGT .

Shaun86 . When I read your posts I wonder what your agenda is. You've mentioned you were gutted not to get involved in August. You then write about valued Company assets as per their accounts implying the MCAP should be what..£4mm? The company should have just over £2mm cash with recent warrants exercised and the placing. That's enough cash to last them over a year .They don't need to do another placing anytime soon. Remnant warrants will add another £400k to the cash position when exercised. The recent placing was massively oversubscribed at 0.55p at which time the company was valued at £17m . At 3.1p briefly the MCAP got to £96mm which did get ahead of itself but this share has a floor MCAP of £31mm now IMO (currently £44m) . TW mentions this share as a bubble at a £70m MCAP but in June he was bearish at 0.11p (from where we rallied 28*), also in late July at 0.20p (15*) . It smells of sour grapes again on his part . Other examples of his bad calls: AVACTA (bearish at 80p - went to 210p) ,NOVACYT (bearish at 295p, went to 1375p) . He was bullish on Centamin at £2.10 now £1.20. In your case are you kicking yourself for missing out in the first rally or just talking this down to try and buy ? It's a mini bear market for Mining names (and most other stocks ) ahead of US Elections, adding to a mix of Lockdown fears. Most investors make money buying the dips in the bad times and taking profit when everything looks great.

I think the reason for some selling has been the three share issuances this year (0.15, 0.08 and 0.55) so above 2.0 there was some recycling of equity into new hands. If you entered into those placings you also received warrants on the first two so keeping the warrants and exiting some or most of the shares made sense. The volume has been high enough to absorb this supply. Below 2p we have natural buying interest again I think. I have bought more the last two days in ISA's at an average of 1.73p. This may fluctuate with core markets a bit but medium term they are funded so there's good upside to come 1-2 years out. Personally I target 7-8p area.

Max111 : I have just under 20M of the 83M warrants and I'm not selling my shares...I have said before that just because warrants are exercised , it doesn't mean the holder has to sell the shares. They just converted to equity that's all.

This is all good price action over the last week . The SP overshot to 3.10p , corrected back to 1.40 , tested 1.85, back to 1.50 then tested 2.10 earlier. Any weaker holders will have been flushed out and the volatility should slow down going forward whilst we build a slowly rising base. Any traders selling this morning will provide a floor on any retracement now as they try to buy dips.

I'm pretty sure the warrants were triggered into exercising when 2.5p plus was reached. There's no reason to imply that they need to be sold at 1.40 ...LTH's will just wait.

BOJO similar for me..have bought decent amount here today with profits from UFO. 1,100 trades on that name but many are small trades. I expect this one to heat up in the next four months.

Oil_Beast perhaps you have that question the wrong way round. How did it get to trade at 3.2p? 2.5p-3.2p was stretching things in the short term.

With GGP, early on people were often selling out early on various spikes so with every pullback there was support after a while . I think the same situation will occur here, particularly as (if?) you get closer to 1.25/1.30 p area . Patience is key to building low cost positions.

Prosper ..UFO has gone from 0.84 on 13th October to 3.15 then back to 1.60 today after 9 trading days . What's the issue? It will settle near here and build a stronger base. Roll on the next news and we'll climb again.

wftt..ARS valuation is all dependent on a future IPO next year. That share is binary too ...

Thank you market makers for giving me that opportunity although it was pretty difficult to get anything of note . I think the JV is a good result and helps again with the medium term financing of this share (read less future requirements for bargain share placements) . The warrant structure is in place and like all of these small miners the shares will get worked through like in GGP's case . Does anyone remember the 225mm warrants announced in September last year for 2.5p issued in GGP (which now trades at 22p)? Share options are the same. Just because you exercise , it doesn't mean those holders have to sell if they like the longer term prospects. Up at 3p initially you might see some selling here but that will get lost in the news flow when the time comes. The daily volumes here are getting big enough to absorb some supply.
