Don’t worry the share price will fluctuate but this company has an even better chance now of getting its product to market, there is a great demand and more importantly it’s use will help people across the world which of course will mean that in the medium term the SP will rise

Hi bmcm, the only way you are going to learn is to make a decision and run with it, if you do press the buy button make a note of how long you intend to hold. If you do make a mistake (either by buying or not buying) it will help you with future decisions. I’ve made plenty of mistakes mainly caused by looking at share price movement rather than the fundamentals of the company.

Bit late to the party but I think Polarean looks stronger now than it did before the FDA decision

Not long, only since Feb this year, I initially bought in after weighing up risk v reward on the story but have grown to like the stock and it’s long term future prospects

Unless you are a trader, I’m invested for the medium term and expect news events to make the price rise and share dilution or taking on debt to make it fall but the core iron ore business should become established and one of the exploration projects could prove successful. Currently fundamentals are good and investments are having positive results.
It’s also likely that a big player could buy us, which would be disappointing but profitable.

Also, possibly the forthcoming energy crisis has prompted interest and action.

I agree with ‘soon to be rich’, beware of fear, greed and impatience, things always take longer than expected and you should factor in a surprise hurdle.
The risk v reward is high v very high on this share so if does come off we will all be rewarded very handsomely.
The fundamentals have only improved since I invested, it’s only market conditions and sentiment that are currently in a dip

Just set my first filter

I think I should start filtering on a few boards, only because I have to ignore quite a few posters that just get personal with each other, I’m quite happy to read a well argued post regardless of whether it is positive or negative. I do my own research afterwards and they all help me to formulate my own view but not the ones without referenced facts or reasoned argument

Don’t worry, it will happen in time, the summer is long and frustrating but we are now starting to evnter exiting times for AIM stock holders, a couple of mine have started to move and I’m watching some others that are motoring.
The big boys will want some of the action and Private Investors will jump on when it looks safe after the initial rise.
This will be the year of commodities

The share price has dropped after announcing a Gold discovery, is there something I have missed in the way the RNS was written or is it the general investing aversion to Small Cap mining companies at the moment

All research and views are of value, they help me formulate my own opinion and I double check claims and references.
Basically I’m saying it’s fine to have a positive or negative view as long as it’s backed up with facts and references - what I find frustrating is when posters get personal and emotionally criticise each other’s views. If you disagree with a viewpoint you should explain why with a factual and coherent argument.

I’m now 24% down on KDNC and my only regret is that I could have waited and got more for my money (but couldn’t risk it)
The fundamentals of the company have not changed, only market sentiment, which has affected many AIM stocks in the same way.
The “go away in May” crowd have been keeping their powder dry and will probably start reinvesting in October which should give us a boost, plus any good news at this time will send the share price rocketing upwards.
The most difficult skill to acquire when investing is patience.
