Hi paddy,
I think there is another new drill-pad in todays daylight image:

As of yesterdays Sentinel-1 image there are no spots in the SW anymore, but there are two spots near the camp, one different spot west of the dune bridge and in the N. To compare the development I overlayed the last two Sentinel-1 images with the current Sentinel-2 image:

We should get a new Sentinel-1 image regardless of the weather conditions according to the following quote from the esa-website:
"The SENTINEL-1 mission includes C-band imaging operating in four exclusive imaging modes with different resolution (down to 5 m) and coverage (up to 400 km). It provides dual polarisation capability, very short revisit times and rapid product delivery. For each observation, precise measurements of spacecraft position and attitude are available.
Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) has the advantage of operating at wavelengths not impeded by cloud cover or a lack of illumination and can acquire data over a site during day or night time under all weather conditions. SENTINEL-1, with its C-SAR instrument, can offer reliable, repeated wide area monitoring."

I think I found another one in the SW when comparing the images from today and five days ago. This is now a line of four spots with an distance of ca. 100m between each of them.

the link was removed, sorry. Here is it (I filled in spacebars, so that it is not deleted again): sentinel . esa . int

Sorry no idea - yet. There is a lot of information about Sentinel-1 availabe at sentinel.esa.int
If I have the time I will try to learn more and let you know. Or anybody else may feel free to do so.

Paddy, many thanks for this road picture, great work again as always. I took this as an opportunity to reconsider the exact position of last years spot on Sentinel-1. Therefore I took its position (Lat: -21.69448 Lng: 122.57905) and converted it (51K 456456.444 7600930.066). Then I plotted it into the GGPs „Geophysical Targets“ map. Result: the spots position is above the Kraken prospect.
I agree with the view that spots on Sentinel-1 may have their origin in trucks driving by. But this spot was to be seen for four Sentinel-1 images at the same position for more than a whole month. My hypothesis is that this was some kind of examination at Kraken.

I meant 22. Oct. 2019, sorry.
It was between 16. Sept. 2019 - 22. Oct. 2020.

Sentinel 1 over Scallywag
I screened the Sentinel-1-images of the Scallywag-area since the beginning of 2019. I found nothing despite the following: Between 16.09.2020 – 22.10.2020 there was a spot at the track curve from Haverion camp to the Scallywag prospects. For me it seems unlikely that this spot is due to a month-long lonely camper in the middle of nowhere. I suspect this might have something to do with the preparation for Scallywag.
Both images again show the exactly same map section.

Great! Thanks a lot.

You´re welcome.
Maybe there is already so much traffic on the "dune brigde" that they had to install traffic lights - therefore the green dots over there. (Sorry, couldn´t resist that cheap joke).
Another idea I had - but wasnt able to implement - was to overlay the Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2-pictures to get an even more direct insight of the points of activity. Maybe you are able and willing to do so, as you did with the semitransparent overlay of GGPs Scallywag-map over the satellite image?

Insight on (rig) activities at Havieron:
PaddyGal uses the Sentinel-2-satellite for his fabulous analysis. I switched to Sentinel-1 with the pre selction „SAR urban“. This offers an interesting insight where activity is going on. I would interpret this as rig activitiy at night and/or sources of artificial light (as seen in the Havieron camp on the upper left). Sentinel-1 offers new pictures approximately every 12 days. If you scroll back in time you can clearly see how activity is increasing and switching across the different drill sections. The first dots in the Sentinel-1-pictures appear May 2019. Maybe PaddyGal has the time and sees some value in it and produces a time reel of the Sentinel-1-pictures. I am not capable of doing so now and I haven´t got the time to learn it instantly, otherwise I would try it. Nevertheless I think Sentinel-1 offers the opportunity to check from time to time which new discovered drill sights are actually at work and a rough rig count. (And it may shorten the time waiting for the next PaddySat.)
Both following images show exactly the same map section on 2020-04-10 resp. 2020-04-07. What might that dot in the upper left be? Someone´s forgotten to switch the car lights off? Or even drilling up there?
The distance between the southwesterly step-out and the centre (at or near the high grade zone) is a whopping ca. 1,2 km! I am more than excited if and what they find down there.

I hope the links works. Happy easter to all.

Sorry for that. I just checked them and they worked well.
Third link on the other share chat.
As lse obviously allows just 2 links I posted the third link on adfvn. Sorry for any inconvenience.
