RE: Big bounce in the tin price today +$790/tonne12 Sep 2021 17:26
The share price has dropped, probably in a reaction to comments about the United Downs drilling results. Perhaps some holders were expecting better news. The news did confirm that the UD Lode was intersected in five of the six drill holes reported to-date, and had been traced over a 200 metre strike length, remaining open along strike, which is good news leaving open the possibility of extending the strike length.... and highlights the potential to discover new zones of copper-tin-silver mineralisation adjacent to the main target," The extent of the mineralisation was perhaps a little disappointing, but drilling continues.
UD in my opinion is a potentially valuable side show to the main resource which is South Crofty, the value of which after costs of extraction admin, tax etc are thought to be many multiples of the market capitalisation of the company. The reaction to the UD drilling news is perhaps an opportunity to buy into the main resource cheaply.
CUSN is likely to be in the news over the next few weeks. There is the Cornish Mining conference coming up, and more drill results, as well as the IPO of Tungsten West which will draw attention to all mining companies in the SW.
