Well, I have been deciding all weekend, as to what format, to present MY opinion of the day...So, having responded to certain posts during week end, I feel it may be easier to break it into bite sized paragraphs...
1: Venue, not as bad to get to as first thought, although London is not my favourite place, as I prefer events at countryside Hotels, where car parking is freely available? But as most Co's there have offices in London and city finance is in London, to be expected I suppose. Never the less, it was suited for this type of event!
2: Stand, was in the second room, against a side wall, close to the refreshment area, so it had a constant foot fall, as people walked along the crowded avenues of Co stands, viewing left and right then walked straight up to the Val marketing display. So, standing and reading the signage, whilst listening to Val staff speak to visitors, was easy and without being cramped, imo a good choice of location. (if chosen, not allocated). On the stand was Satu, Tarquin and Kumar and one other, so four in all.
3: Reception of visitors by staff, open friendly and quite frankly enthusiastic, they did not rush anyone and spoke to each who asked a question or indeed introduced themselves... Now, knowing I have been highly critical at times of both Val finances and marketing and especially Tarquin's methods of marketing... I was WRONG, Tarquin is dedicated to Val and I watched how he scrutinsed Satu's presentation and advised her, afterwards as they talked (including me in conversation) about each segment. He also stood to greet each person and shake hands, not easy when supporting yourself with a walking stick, could have easily stayed seated, but didnt!
4: My questions, now baring in mind that many on this billboard, had stated they wont turn up, they will be offish and distant, they will not want to talk about things... You are WRONG! As on introducing myself both by name and BB avatar, they treated me the same as any other person turning up to see for themselves?
Both Tarquin and Satu were polite informative and answered my questions, as such as it would have been nice to meet George? Answer, he would have been here, but had to fly to Atlanta for a medical conference and business development? Good to see Valiseek now self funding, yes, allowing for Valirx to receive income by way of royalties and/or lump sum, to enable further development of 201, 101 and 301. Why did you not raise funds on the rises, why trust certain parties who are known for manipulating stock prices, I can say that Satu is not impressed with the BS debacle and nor did she seem impressed with others either.
Impo there are some who simply do not want Val to succeed for obviously personal gain? Why heaven knows, but for such a small BioTech a lot of people seem very interested and as we all know post here daily contradicting any positives. Why are they so bad, I dont think they actually are, more naive, great scientists dont always make
