I gave him the information of where to look then he says I'm quoting him hahahaha! yes they have sold a few shares but the resulting sale and reported current shareholding still holds above 3%, any further dilution or selling could result in dropping below the 3% threshold which would require a Tr1 notification to be published.

Then the final throwing of the teddy out of the pram is his own view of when they were selling and that they don't own any shares contrary to evidence that has been produced in black and white lol

Sprott/Ninepoint’s position is only ~3.01–3.04%, well below the 10% threshold.

Therefore, they do not have to make a formal Canadian early warning filing or press release.

Interesting little article from the other day discussing, among other things, the decline in gold grades. The salient point is the difference in average grade of operating mines around the world (1.06g/t) and the average grade of all undeveloped deposits (0.66g/t).

That 0.4g/t differential tells many stories and one of those is the proportion of those undeveloped deposits that will ever be developed - and it's not a large number.

Grade is king is a much overused idiom as there is a lot more to a mine, but that doesn't mean its wrong - perhaps, channelling Gordon Gekko and "grade is good" would be a better version.

But in a rising market it tends to be forgotten as a rising tide gets everyone a bit frisky, and indeed in such instances, lower grade, high cost mines actually do better than lower cost operations, on a relative basis. But when the tide stops rising, as it has done in recent weeks, then suddenly everyone is an expert on mineral economics.

We have no control over geology, but we do have control over where we focus our attention, and that attention will always remain on finding deposits that can actually be developed and mined, rather than simply chasing ounces for the sake of it.
