So in effect they were looking out for shareholders as placees would of been able to sell at a far higher inflated share price,combined with new information from the assays, this could have created concerns for regulators about fair pricing in the placement.

I think they will still get a placing away but at a rate closer to the current share price, you have seen yourself that the market has taken a positive view on it today.

They calculate the trade type based on the trade price being higher or lower than the mid price at the time of the transaction. Sometimes this calculation does not work, or the price is the opposite side of the mid price, This means they are either unable to calculate what type of trade this is at all, or the calculation shows it as the wrong type of trade (a buy instead of a sell ).

The above would explain why you sometimes you see an Unknown trade. Delayed trades happen from time to time especially large trades which can be due to various different reasons, a high "worked trade" working order or sell shares at a specific, predetermined price, or simply that they're not always given the information by the Stock Exchange.
