Debtcamel, I think Gary Jennison is much more informed than you about the credit market. You should be running a company lending people money when they are in need rather than telling them how to get compensation.

If amigo goes bust then I wonder what borrowing will be in the future? How would other lenders survive with cmc's coming after them and FCA will look like a farce. I still believe Gary will turn this around, time will tell.

Gary Jennison is the one who will get us out of the mess the previous BoD got us in and left. With the new BoD, I have full faith,they will turn this around and we'll see a turnaround.

This SoA is planned to discourage future amigo customers to claim via cmc's and get some compensation while amigo can survive and pay something to all customers than pay nothing when amigo goes bust. So the customers should decide whether to go through cmc or claim on their own. I believe this is a good scheme and will go through bcoz the bod have already consulted with the FCA and it's the only way forward. This SoA is the only way forward for this company to survive and in my opinion will be accepted by the amigo customers. Don't underestimate the new BoD who are here to turn around this company. Time will tell and if not then there must be plan B, but this BoD are not here to let go. They are the best people and they know what they are doing. Amigo brand will be there in years to come and will be stronger in future. The price drop is temporary and I suggest anyone who likes to take a risk can buy at this point and reap rewards in time.
