Bruce, their are plenty of folk who've had to reinvent themselves on a number of occasions myself included, the first time is the most traumatic but with change & adversity comes strength. If I were going to be made redundant my first choice of employer would be the coal board the second would be Lloyd's.

Look at the Italian banks, irresponsible lending, look at Berenberg, sharp practice. Lloyd's skeletons are out of the closet now & the UK economy is buoyant enough for irresponsibility not to be levelled at Lloyd's (atm at least, fingers crossed lol). On balance I think Lloyds is good value at these levels medium to long term, which is why I will be increasing my holding & averaging down.

The share price is where it is. The pros ARE an end to PPI (miss selling of the banks own making), a 10% buy back programme at an attractively low share price. A branch closure strategy which should drive down costs and deliver improved returns to shareholders. A post Brexit economic upturn, free from the shackles of Europe. The SP is being held back because of uncertainty in the EU banking sector as a whole.
The cons ARE Brexit uncertainty, the real possibility of a Corbyn led government & a global economic slowdown.
As far as I'm concerned if your holding Lloyd's at an average above today's SP and you think the price is likely to slide further back yourself & sell a proportion of your holding & wait for your lower target price. If you think Lloyd's is fair value at these sort of levels continue buying and average down. Either way take some responsibility for your position & stop fookin whinging :)

Timing is critical Rooster, the halls of Westminster will be at their most fractured right now the infighting will have started in both camps & many casualties will emerge in the coming days weeks & months. Interestingly while Lab & Tories count the cost of internal skermishes Farage will be free to make hay for his shiny new Brexit Party with nothing but enthusiasm to feed his charges. Boris will probably appear like a wet fart for the Tories & Starmer will contradict himself into Labour's box seat. Leaving Farage to explode on a tide of metaphorical hot creamy jizzum to reinvigorate the nation. Or somat along them lines at any rate.

Boldboy can see a couple of high ranking Tory's joining Nigel Farage if Boris starts to emerge as favourite for next tory leader after the EU elections. Imagine the Brexit Party with a couple of big hitters like double D's & Raab. Throw in Kate Hoey & lab & the tories would fold like a cheap watch. All to play for!
