Couldn’t get a price for just 12000 shares and a sell price for 100k was coming out at 5.75
Getting interesting.....

I’ve been around Gemd a few years now. In and out. Solid company. This price circa 40 to 45 won’t be around much longer. March I think at memory for results. Will be solid and promising. Best mine in the world some could argue. What’s not to like. Patience to all. It will happen. If only I had more funds I’d have been in even more by now.
Regarding Colonel Drake and his views and comments.... a worthy read every time. I’m 90% with you whenever I’ve seen your postings. A good poster to take note of peeps.

Topped up again. Even if these drop below 40 again, it won’t be there for long at all, IMO of course. Soon may it have a good recovery. Twice now I’ve missed out on these lower prices... not this time. Thought it would stay north of 45. March will upon us before we realise and a good chance we hear of another big stone/stones before then. Gl all

@ d-g..... day traders, profit takers and investors.... this is confidently becoming a growing business. I’m looking to get myself a new mattress in the new year so they’ve got at least one more mattress sold lol.
I genuinely, perhaps too willingly, thought this would have raised it’s mark back up to the 7 area certainly hinting at 6 by now. Perhaps too many traders and investors have bought their mattresses by now and are enjoying their sleep too much to wake up to these prices shouldn’t be around for much longer. A no brainer IMO, I just wish I had some extra funds to boost mine but laid up at present for other things. Okay, I’m now just rambling haha

@wyn.... I get all of that. My point was somewhat rhetorical and posing my thoughts with the board. Even though you say it’s not always wise to dip in and out, you did... with a well done too lol.
It still amazes me how the markets can react or not react to good or bad, small or large and so on. I’ve been playing around with shares for about 12 years and they keep tweaking the “rule” book.
This then combines d-g’s comment too. Funny how positive news can have a drop, negative can have a rise.

@ maverick... I’ve not long been a member on LSE, and only a manner of days with this stock. Does that make me laughable too even though I’ve been playing in this money game since around the same time as you?
Some are cautious to post and some are overly keen.... some ramp and some de-ramp..... some make useful comments and some make naive ones.
Just an observation as your comment could relate to others on here without you realising.

I don’t think this share used Duracell. They’re running a bit flat now.

Still surprised there wasn’t more positive impetus from the last announcement.
In some ways I wish I got out at the 6 to 7 area as that feels like ages ago, played around with other shares and come back in. Oh well, here for the results in January which are sure to be good as we already know.
If anyone’s out there still sitting on fences, it hopefully now won’t be long before this does actually start that climb back up and beyond. Gl all

Anyway, onto my msg...... does anyone else know of the tenders that are set to happen over these few days, prior to today and next few? I do find sometimes that their website isn’t always prompt and upto date. Plus, I could sworn I saw somewhere that they are scheduling an update in Jan... looks like there’s one in Feb but that’s another whole month later! Lolol
Been sitting in the red for a while, just topped up today to average out. Was just generally curious.

@ Bfath...... firstly 11k is 11k and not £11 so therefore that’s still a fair size in money. Secondly, he or anyone else in this given scenario but be financially upto their neck in it or simply they don’t have funds to throw around. Everyone should still see that £11,000 has been bought and that therefore still shows a level of commitment and hope. No one in their right mind is going to happily throw 11k in a fire just for the hell of it unless it’s in a film

I’m on the assumption they’ve bought according to how the tr-1’s work. Now above threshold that’s necessary to declare. So either they are straight in from nothing or were simply below threshold although I’d have thought the tr-1 would have on this occasion (from now reaching threshold) shown the lesser amount. Intriguing interested party buying in..... spreadbetting company in think mainly sports orientated gambling...so.... in for a quick buck? Genuine investing? Who knows, unless someone has better thoughts than myself

To those that have interests in gem diamonds, they’ve just found 3 large diamonds inc 1 at 183 carats (at memory)
These finds may help boost this share too...come on Petra back up and over 10 to 11 and to infinity!

Results are one thing but how the markets gonna play this out, that’s another.

With hope here....... the same thing pretty much happened with Petra diamonds (pdl) where there seemed to be a relentless pull down from shorts, mm games, whatever you want to call it. Camels back (so to speak) broke and now it’s only going up. Painful exercise to go through but hang on in there and this will flourish. It’s as though they “have to reach the bottom” clear their shorts to let this back up. If you’ve got the dosh to manipulate it to this degree you can do what you want!
