The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Hefty purchase today. Can’t grumble at a quarter mill bought.
The spread says it’s a “buy” .....let’s flippin hope so...
RNS due soon me hopes
Utterly pathetic, selfish and totally childish, Lloyd.
Now debating whether to nickname you back to Simon or it’s leaning towards Slodge (Sledge’s partner in crying) or perhaps that’s just going down your childish route.
For anyone in now....... even IF it goes much lower are in for absolute bargain.
This will EASILY double, at least, when NICE comes through let alone what will happen from now till then.
Maybe you should have got out ages ago but no...... YOU felt it could be worth hanging on..... that’s ON YOU Lloyd...no one else. YOUR decision to “never give Budd his money back” lmao. It’s not even his money. What an idiotic thought
@ Guy... of course we get the frustration side of things. No brainer.
But that’s not what Face, myself and a few others are addressing here. particularly with Lloyd.
Being an investor/trader.... what have you..... a holder of shares in a company....... means you’ve put money into something that you want to make more from...yeah? The no brainer bit.
And for whatever reason it’s not working the way you want it to then it’s down “how” you deal with it.
And constantly posting messages about how the world’s going to end regarding GDR
is absolutely NOT GOING TO HELP.
even a slug could probably understand that!
This is nothing about how frustrated one is
This is nothing about how well or badly a company is doing
It’s about using one’s noddle
Again, using the selling a car scenario.....
You’re not going to KEEP telling someone that it’s juicy on oil or that it struggles to start in the cold or that it needs new tyres etc etc ..... if they ask, answer and move on. Better still answer and then give them something positive to end with. If they don’t, then it’s upto that person to check what they’d wish out.
Most of this really isn’t difficult to get a handle on at all.
Lloyd’s flippancy to the “I don’t care if” attitude is entirely selfish to all other holders. Including you Guy..... you also to some degree should be pee’d off with his constant mired attitude.
anyway, horse and water come to mind
Funny but true Bruno... that made me chuckle but not as much as the tripe Lloyd just posted @ 12.03
Utter idiocy and a “throwing the towel in” attitude. Pathetic childish behaviour.
Of course I’m here for me....duh
But I’m also one of MANY that want to make some damn money so I see that constant negativity is NOT going to help anyone...including you....geeeez what does it take for you to get it.
So my comments are for ALL OF US....duh....including, believe it or not, you Lloyd, even chav CadChav who is simply aiming at making money however we see their posts, but ultimately wants to make money.
The selfish one, if any, could be argued that it’s you..... claiming you’re so heavily under that in fact you don’t want anyone else to make money that are already here...let alone potential new ones. So close to being Sledge’s sidekick..so sad.
This also goes to show that perhaps through your own errors and misjudgment, you shouldn’t be in this game if you can’t hack it. You’re naivety in this game, shows through.... doesn’t matter how old or young you are... every day is a day for learning.
If you're not careful, you’re going to end up being another Sledge.... all bitter and twisted....you REALLY don’t want to be that ..... do you?
I’ve been in this game since the “07/08” crash so a good 15 years. I’ve made plenty of mistakes over the years, (as well as nailing it spot on with successes, thankfully) and hopefully learnt much from them all. Will probably still make some errors.... but...
What I spout out on here is in fact to try and benefit where I can....ALL OF US
Regarding whether if people account for what’s said on these boards shouldn’t be investing....... well, I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s why you “apparently” invested here in the first place!
Chasing rainbows as many do.... buy in high without researching or simply to take a punt and hope to make some quick bucks.... I see it so often. Only got yourself to blame on that, no one else. Take it on your own chin.
I have, and trying to work through it and not blaming anyone else for my actions.
Regarding your average of a supposed 32p.... hear hear Face... well said.
Regarding negativity on the boards being an agenda and calling it rubbish..... That’s what derampers do....either to drag sp down for their benefit of entering lower or they’re shorting. Positivities won’t help there will they.... lmao so yeah..... anyone constantly posting negative stuff must be considered as someone with an agenda or bitter, like our local troll....
And to be called out.
Anyway, sadly, I don’t think you’ll ever get it and we’ll have to keep having these pointless battles.
My point exactly Potter. Glad someone gets it. Only just noticed your post sorry
You don’t know how to find anything positive, and that’s where your problem lies.
On the point of someone not having anything positive to mention..... you/they don’t have to at the same time mention.....anything, do you or they....?.....it’s that simple.
Therefore, you don’t HAVE to mention negative if you feel nothing positive is worth mentioning. This is still, after months of this, what you don’t get.
You could be quite likely putting off the odd investor, new or old, to giving up on GDR or not bothering to invest because of your consistent rants of woe.
That..... will not help the sp....and why?..... because as we know, it doesn’t take much at all for the sp to be affected, so therefore regarding this share it’s quite feasible to be a consideration.
This, then goes back to my ailing long term thoughts and that’s whether you’re a genuine investor or not......OR..... you “want” the sp to drop to average down/ top up whatever you want to call it. This point is the only logical one in your favour. Otherwise, there’s no logic or common sense to keep banging out the woes. Every day all day. It’s tiresome and I’m sure many here (silent or verbal) don’t want to keep seeing you on the soap box.
Any genuine investor with brains, logic and common sense will WANT the sp to at least stay steady in silence if not to rise. And with that.....not shouting out any angle of negative all the time if at all.
I would suggest that the truth lies somewhere between the 2 of you.
At the same time we one of you that’s half glass full and the other glass half empty.
Never the Twain...hey
Good to see Lloyd that you’re quick enough to point that out.
Yes, we’ve dipped below 17.50 which is a marker to be considered.
But why are you always so keen to point negative stuff out..?.... just doesn’t make sense.
I find it concerning and dubious that you’re always keen to mention negativity.
Irrelevant of Budd, irrelevant of sales.... do you WANT this to continue south?
Is it the case of trying to prove me or others wrong?
Thankfully at present, it’s by a very small amount of volume so it could easily revert. Will look at charts again to see how they may play out.
Let some hope people don’t get carried away here and do the drama thing and bail.
Everything’s still cracking on,
Following extracts from the latest RNS....
“Regardless of this ruling, all existing licences for the Coringa project remain in place and valid and the Company is able to continue its existing mining operations.”
“Mike Hodgson, CEO of Serabi commented:
“Whilst on the face of it this news may seem of concern, I can confirm this does not change any of our immediate plans. We took the decision nearly one year ago to commence scoping the additional study, and the study remains ongoing with the Company expecting the report to conclude that there is no detrimental impact from the Coringa project, which should allay any outstanding concerns regarding the environmental impact of the project. In the meantime, we will continue the current mine development activities and transport the ore to be processed at our existing Palito gold plant where we have existing capacity.”
Sometimes things sound more dramatic than what they are....
Looks like someone bailed a minute past the hour.... bet they didn’t even read the RNS properly
I think Face is much like me here Lloyd, realistic but with positive attitude.
Much nicer and more logical on a board with many others (silent or not) than being negative on most accounts. Where all the negative sentiment could affect others decisions and quite possibly unnecessarily so. Hence me banging on about it for ages. (Not battling here.... just stating my thoughts)
We all know by now where we are... and to some degree many are “assuming” they know it all and we don’t.
What we DO know is that we have some amazing products, with another product being reviewed with NICE.
We DO know that the NHS has taken claim to AIHL and that “should” only mean one thing..... over time, this will the practice used throughout the UK
We DO know that Genedrive is amongst a small few (a handful) that are leading the way in the medical world with genomics and I am sure THIS WILL BE THE WAY for our future practices when it comes to determining certain gene “defects” .... this can cover so many areas of which I think is where GDR will come out trumps. Fair enough on the generalising here and this part of the future will take time but this could be phenomenal for us.
Putting a bad analogy to it here..... look at bitcoin. Even over the past couple years of bitcoin being hugely roller coaster’ed it’s still sky high to when it first came out.
Starting a new one simply because we keep using our local troll’s thread. Hopefully others get that and will continue chat here onwards or make your own thread. Let’s get this stupid 16p thread gone.
So.... regarding NICE...... over here or USA
As Starres has already mentioned... USA work a different system, and we, the UK, have one of the, if not the most stringent processes and procedures system in place. Other countries do NOT need to wait for our system to fulfil itself.
And let’s make this CLEAR...... getting NICE approval is a big bonus.... endorsement......WE DO NOT NEEEEEEED IT for other Trusts or private or whoever flippin wants to take it on board. Anyone can take it on board now....
(My caveat here.....as as I confidently am aware, I’ll stand by my words just above)
With regards to the funds available, Guy is correct to my memory too.... we have pretty much a year of funds left so please people stop banging on about we need to fund raise soon.... I, as will many, be highly surprised if they ask again..... most certainly this year, let alone pre June 23
Finally, let’s hope this is the last time we see this bottom range.... charts are still showing there’s a good chance of a decent recovery back into the 20’s. There’s a small gap around 18.72 to close and quite often gaps need closing...if we get back up there then there could be a bounce back into 20’s.....
Gl all as ever... UNB1
It was pretty much a Red Sea day across the markets. Not so much 100 but 250 and so on didn’t favour well... I think therefore we also got caught in that storm. I’d say that’s more the punishing reason, although I hear you Lloyd.
This was a good RNS to get, simple as that.
People won’t bail just because it’s a different RNS... I’d understand people bailing if it was a performance/sales related RNS and it didn’t show decent results but this was an entirely different one.
Hypothetically, a sales/performance related RNS could turn up any day so you could yourself why would you, I or they bail on a non related RNS? I get the impatience and frustrations of the unknown (being results) but this is the medical world and it just doesn’t move as quick as some other sectors. Certainly when it’s in the R & D field.
I understand the essence of trying to get your money back let alone make some... and maybe for some they thought it would come around much quicker (if we go back to early covid etc).... I was there too albeit nowhere near as high as some so I do feel it too as I know it such a risk chasing rainbows unless you’re fortunate enough to be in at the early stages and then to be brutal to yourself in not getting too greedy.
Anyway, tomorrow is another day....
Gl all.... this will come good in the end
UNB1
Go Sledge off somewhere else you sad sad troll.
Utterly pathetic your behaviour
Grow up and learn to be an adult
I was going to do a joke/sarcastic post of “well done for calling out on an RNS for Monday” etc etc...
but the fact is No One called it.
It’s like going for a single number on a roulette table and if you keep going for the same number it’ll eventually come through.
I’m with Guy on this.... quite the comedy over the past weeks
I don’t think anyone expected this particular RNS.
Anyway, on with the positive side.... it may not for today be a game changer in sp but it really SHOULD be called out
as a good / encouraging RNS. That’s another product being take under the wings of NICE
Let’s hope during the day/week this will be seen as encouraging for the sp too.
Would like to have thought this would lift us above 20 at least.
Worth noting here, if I’m correct for which I do think so.... to get into the NICE arena, you have to have a pretty solid product, that’s good enough to go under investigation to then qualify as an officially approved NICE product.
For that, well done GDR
Again, shaping the future with genomics in which GDR are a forerunner.
There’s no fact in your comment. I hear you...but no fact.
I’m simply giving balance to your negative stance.
Plus, your earlier comment was incorrect.... making sure others are aware and can take their own judgement.
Finally, ramping is one thing....what I mentioned is far from ramping.
If anything, your comments about ...”they would” “they are” etc etc.... careful not to make claims you don’t know if factually correct.
They “might” consider this as a punt (for example)
They “may consider increasing to over 3%” (for example)
This is what Roger often does too..... make comments claimed as fact... when “in fact” they are only assumed by him and likewise by you.
Can only call out facts when they are so.
Just saying and not to cause further rifts.
We are, after, “meant to be” in this together.
And as I’ve just read Face’s comment...I support the view made.
Take a look at Cineworld...what a week for them
Morningstar also have their version of figures... link below to hopefully work
https://www.morningstar.com/stocks/xlon/gdr/ownership
What’s interesting in some of these stats shows that perhaps Lloyd is wrong and was it possibly a negative blag? Hmmmmm
Make your own deductions.
What I see is that several hold
Some reduced
Some added
A couple (ish) out
A couple (ish) fresh and in
Investment companies have it in their name... if they had ALL bailed then I could see some merit in doubting GDR, but they are here....to invest. Not trade per say.
Pension pots for one
Beat me to it..lol
And yours looks different to some degree
Just checked via Yahoo.finance....
If upto date as to which it should be the following applies.....
45.03% % of shares held by all insiders
4.78% % of shares held by institutions
8.69% % of float held by institutions
8 Number of institutions holding shares
A further $2 mill due in instalments over the next few months. Final instalment to be paid by end Jan....
I think we’re all forgetting this....that we’ve got plenty more on the way.
If, in instalments that gives us around 5 months... that means we may well get $400k each month....
That’s awesome! Ka...ching!
Unfortunately Pedro, Adam doesn’t seem to like people sounding positive.
Mining stocks overall today, are having a beating so it may end up a flatter day than SRB should have.
On a fair day this should be going up at least 5% on the news we’ve had.
Many of the grades given were excellent and money rolling in.
Defo one of the best mining stocks to be in right now
