It closed at $1.14 in the States, a bit later than us, equivalent to 83p. Bitcoin was $32560 when our market shut, and around the same when the US market shut. All depends where Bitcoin is trading at 8am on Monday morning if course, but if it's $32500 the price should move up to 83 in the first few minutes. If bitcoin is lower, we already have a bit of margin built in to cushion any drop. If bitcoin is higher, and especially if it looks like its picking up momentum again, it could gap up quite sharply on Monday morning.

If I was in the States I'd be looking to protect my assets from the Democrats personally.

What they will try and do is co-opt the facebook cryptocurrency, or one designed by say JP Morgan give it the Govt stamp of approval, and try to get that adopted as the standard crypto. Good luck with that.

Just been skimming an interesting article in the Economist, about the virus mutating. It's what they do, no surprise. And, the current vaccines are effective against the latest mutations. But the article makes the point that as it continues to mutate and evolve, so it will become resistant to the current vaccines. Policy makers will already be aware of this uncomfortable fact. Testing will be here to stay for quite some time.

There are positives. This means as soon as we get regulatory approval, we can sell all we can make. Regulatory approval is not in Omega's hands. I expect the whole RTC is pussed off at how long its taking. Yet another flaw in the system the pandemic has exposed.

GLP are seeking to overturn the decision and the contracts. I.e., to change government actions which were taking by executing govt policy. Judicial review is all about trying to change Govt policy.

No regulator I'm not okay with corruption. But I think the government should set policy/statute, and the judiciary should interpret it. The GLP are trying to set policy.

I'm also not okay with people presenting something with only some of the facts, to try and put the worst possible spin on it. That smacks of someone trying to mislead others to suit their own agenda.

Regulator, the point of the large number of cases Jolyon has launched is to put money into his pocket, not to cost him. If he can't defray the costs, he's out of pocket. Thus far Jolyon has only applied for a judicial review. He clearly hasn't raised enough to defray the costs of pursuing it.

As far as clarifying the extent of Government powers in an emergency goes, I personally think that the attempts by the judicial system to overrule legitimate policy making and democratic consent over the last five years went too far, and have wasted considerable sums of taxpayers money.

Regulator has forgotten to add that Jolyon sought £100,000 from crowdfunding to fund him to prosecute the Abingdon case. If you check on the Good Law Project website, it says there are only five days to go to hit that £100,000 target. I seem to recall that back around the end of November he'd raised almost £35,000. It's now £39,385. So just another £60,615 to go. £14,000 a day. I'm guessing this case is going to get dropped for lack of funding to proceed. And anyway, its just vexatious litigation, with as much chance of success as Jolyon's crusade to overturn the Brexit referendum. But maybe Regulator could dig deep and make up the £60k shortfall.
