Scancell founder says the company is ready to commercialise novel medicines to counteract cancer. Watch the video here.
Both my wife and I have recently received NHS letters asking us to take part in their research study.
My wife’s is for an antigen swab test and mine is for an antibody test. We both agreed to take part.
The follow up my wife received with her pack contained what came across as an instruction manual. She was asked to administer the test at 7am and then wait for it to be collected any time between 8am and 6pm. I’ve heard nothing back regarding my test.
It’s a lot of rigmarole, especially when you’re not unwell, to be waiting around all day. In the end no one showed. Added to this, the test is a waste of everyone’s time anyway, unless it’s repeated, every week.
First hand experience really does highlight the desperate need for changing this to the LFT and when it’s implemented, it must have top consumer experience, be supremely effective and become a hassle free part of our every day lives. It only takes for a few hiccups to destroy the brand reputation as, let’s face it, that’s all people will talk about. Consumers will, to a large extent, be the judges and will drive the success or failure of the product. We’re also only having to compete with awful first mover products and experiences. If we’re going to create the most sold and recognised product since Coca Cola it’s so worth the wait to get the ingredients, packaging and delivery right to perfection... and we will.
Defending their libel suits I suspect
Should be expanded by the press and Poss TV over the weekend and hopefully some of the reporting sharpened up a bit further. Maybe the pressure will squeeze the identity of the supplier out of the developed source.
Could look marginally better that he's sold a few if he ends up hitting the press out of having made a vast fortune out of public money. He might have to sell some more.
He'd still be a godzillionaire but at least he'll be a godzillionaire from his nice new gaff.
Am also wondering if we might see a 'monster' fund begin to eye up a consolidation of some of the Covid businesses and some of their supply chains. It could present an interesting opportunity for some who would otherwise fall foul of competition regulations, which may not come to play here.
and possibly the ships with some Deep verge too Infinity! Smelly Cruises Inc!
Just see it as a hedge on a long term view of the possibility of normality returning one day and should testing levels begin to reduce in the long term. They are of course correlated in their direction well before then.
As you say, incredibly difficult to get the timing right on these . Inevitably would provide some impressive gains though down the line.
Infinity- I put myself into AIG at the start of lockdown as I’d not expected things to pan out the way they have. Fortunately I took my medicine early and cut my loss. I am minded to go back in at some point and Carnival. As mentioned yesterday, a most appropriate hedge on a soaring Avacta.
Interesting to see 4D reversing into a NASDAQ vehicle. Wondered if this might accelerate the appetite and ambition to ignite the Avacta story in the nearer term.
Sure it has to happen at some point but others will no better if it makes sense to accelerate a process to NASDAQ. Any views?
Thanks all. Can't wait to get away after this is all over. Sandy Lane here we come!
Infinity- Which travel recoveries do you like most for after we fix things?
Yes and fronted by a US company for the Chinese.
Won’t get much traction over the pond.
Indeed TallPaul and hopefully, with a second mover advantage, have been wise enough to anticipate the questions that will be levelled at them.
Also hopefully they will have all of the special dispensation they will require to keep working through their lock down.
Could be quite a key audience for rapid scale up if it’s impressive and well done the line. Presumably overseas manufacturers, suppliers, government agencies press and so on. Significant sell for their software, processes and our IP.
Just a Reminder- Wednesday 2.30pm. Should be very interesting and may tell us how advanced this part is.
BBI’s Novarum technology transforms a smartphone into a diagnostic test reader, empowering users to read and share the results of rapid tests from the point of care.
Infinity, mine is very persistent. He just sits and stares and gets what he wants, always- tee hee. He's happy now.
That was the most expensive dog walk I've ever been on. Just got back and seen the ups and downs.
Just goes to show what effect the proper big one will have if the 'Mickey Mouse' order, that wasn't ours, had such quick reaction.
Most likely would have sat tight. My dog always knows best.
Get the feeling there is apathy with trials unless properly directed and promoted.
A swab test trial came to my household about a week ago. It’s been completely forgotten and put away somewhere.
Thanks Alchemyst. Yes that’s where I saw it as a latest pending TM and was intrigued what might be coming.
Anyone help with what AffiRX is?
Noticed it looks like a new pending TM
