I must say I agree with you. I have no idea why investors announce their personal dealings but my concern here is that some posters have become almost god-like figures to some who no doubt would act like lemmings in certain situations.

I paid about 10 Bob for my first million and no one batted an eyelid in those days. Sell a million now and it’s major news. A major poster on here could announce he has sold a few (even if it’s just enough to buy a new kettle) and the world would erupt.

My reasoning is that the asx announcement page is currently showing their Monday morning releases as published Sunday 6th Dec 2020 rather than Monday 7th and at our time rather than Oz?

I know what you mean but the markets tend to slowly shut up shop on the run in so not likely the week before (ie week comm 21/12).

They won’t release ‘twixt Christmas and New Year so I think there are only 10 more relevant business days to go.

The data they want to release will no doubt have been compiled; Ncm and Ggp have a great partnership so yeah, I think tonight is a strong possibility.

My rationale is that last year, the Hav drilling results were released by Newcrest the day before our AGM. I see no reason why it would be different this year. As such, we will get Hav update tonight.

The MRE is due out in December. I can not see any other key dates other then Ggp AGM that might fit for release of the resource. I accept they could be released as a one off notification but I think not.

That is why I think tonight might be the night.

Just been having a think about significant timings.

As we know, last years interims were released the day before Greatland’s AGM. I know we are expecting the same again so fair old chance Newcrest will report on Monday meaning that we will get that news tomorrow (Sun) evening.

Now then. After much debate and conjecture, it has been confirmed that we will get the maiden or first inferred/indicated resource during December. Newcrest’s next key date, however,is January 28th when they release the December Quarterly results.

So, can we draw any potential conclusion from this? It may be that Newcrest plan to release the all important initial resource figures on that date, being that is the December quarterly, but I fancy that would be a play on words.

That therefore leaves one key option. Could it be that the plan is to release it on Monday to allow Gervaise to speak about it at the AGM on Tuesday. It would make quite a lot of sense would it not.

MRE tomorrow night? Could be.

If all goes according to plan I should have my ticket by spring next year so if you want you could forget charter and simply hire an aircraft.

I have been in Ggp for years and my ambition is to fly in Oz and aerial explore all the Ggp licence areas. I retired a month or two ago and so this is a half-baked plan at the mo.

We could fly Hav and Telfer whilst checking on neighbours, do PRE and black hills. Also, controversially, I would love to have a butchers at Ernest Giles and then off to Tasmania. I could show you my terrible stall recovery methods en-route!!

Would beat the rainy damp miserable over populated North West if nothing else.
