From what I can see, these results are even better than expected. We pretty much knew about the west stuff but what is very interesting is the news of the Southwest splay at Juno. Where the hell is that mineralisation heading? It seems as though it may sit adjacent to the Felix lake grid which would massively widen the discovery.

The other key point is the extension BY 2 km to the east. Don’t forget that this area is in the opposite direction to Lamaune and is massively under explored. It heads out towards Toronto Lake where we have found gold. This may well be linked to Toronto in which case....Jesus.

Final obvious stuff is early drill indications showing bam grade mineralisation.

This is bloody superb.....

Everything is now leading towards a corporate action. The team have done a great job in building up the Nickel and gold resource figures especially when this has all been achieved independently.

Everything seems to indicate they are looking for an acquirer rather than a partner. We should know soon enough.

Massively undervalued at the moment, and the 2021 strategy is clear in terms of proving up additional au into the indicated and inferred cats and also conducting carefully orchestrated drilling to define the real potential of this 31 km long multi million ounce au resource. No further work ongoing regarding the nickel.

Glad to hear the girls are upbeat about the situation with Lnd; hopefully they see a payday bonus on the horizon. I honestly think a quid return is achievable and good to know that would be acceptable for you. As you rightly state though, I do think the potential here points to a higher return but then we are back to the old points about balance for Landore and an acquirer. Perhaps I sound like the ramper.

I think we will know soon enough.

Greatland or any other company can bring ‘inside’ other parties who then become subject to same insider rules as anyone else within the original company until such time as any news likely to affect share price is made subject by usual means.(RNS)

There will be a representative or representatives from Newcrest brought ‘inside’ who will have had access to Scally data from day one. Absolutely no doubt.

We know that.

Many of us also know that this is an unduly long delay no matter what anybody says. The company have chosen to simply say lab delays. That is their policy.

What we as investors know is that they could equally choose to allay concerns by providing an interim update on assays they (make no bones about it) already have. They have chosen not to and are therefore intent on releasing ALL drill results (and presumably the aero mag stuff if they still deem it worthy) in one release.

As such, no matter how positive we feel, no matter how much reading and research we have done, no matter what conclusions we arrive or don’t arrive at, we can still be nervous about delays and no amount of posting by people saying ‘be calm’ ‘expect delays’ etc can stop those feelings.

On August 19th ol’ GH said 6-8 weeks for drilling and perhaps earlier for aero mag results. Not a sniff since except for comments about labs.

Come on. Be realistic here.

The bottom line is we don’t know what is going on but many of us now suspect something is afoot. I think the results will be great. But I thought that 2 years ago (scarily almost to the day now!!!) and so did most everybody else.

All fair points but I must take issue with point 5. This is a subject that raises its head with alarming regularity.

You say that it is against market rules to sit on information. This is simply not true.

Whilst information remains ‘inside’ it is within the rules. If this was not the case, companies would be obliged to release news every 5 minutes. Different companies have different policies on news release; but the different policies are within the rules.

Newcrest, for example, release quarterly results. They agreed with Ggp to make an exception and also release interims. They didn’t have to. It was a policy and not a rules based decision. As long as the information is kept ‘inside’ and released when applicable by approved means. Ie RNS. This is the means by which corporate actions can be discussed between ‘insider’ parties prior to news (eg aero mag surveys or drilling) being released.

Glad it’s not just me. I was looking back through those 2017/2018RNS’s as the EG decision was being kicked down the road. As time went on, most of us were of the belief that there was ‘no way’ that there would be anything other than a good outcome. We decided that Newmont would certainly know what they had and that the double delays were due to ongoing talks. How wrong we were.

My concern is Newmont were ‘in the chair’ so to speak and so were able to exercise a level of control in Greatland’s ability to release news. This is not the case at the moment.

These results are mega late. I accept that labs are running behind, but there is no doubt that the bulk of the results are known and have probably been known for some time.

So why the delay. God only knows but this opens the door to conspiracy theories of all sorts; Joint Venture negotiations on one hand to delayed results with plans to mitigate disappointment on the other.

I know all the arguments and remain cautiously optimistic but the reality is that we just don’t know.

Unless the RNS has arrived whilst we are typing.
