I disagree Stebo, as a shareholder I am part of the company and I do find the newspaper article to possibly affect the outcome of the TK project. We have no idea what the readership of the Reporter is and who will have read that txt.

KEFI needs to ring up the paper and get them to publish and apology. I see they have asked on X in a tweet to correct the article, but I don't see that the paper has responded and I don't see that the Reporter is even on X.

Stebo, I have over a thousand posts on this site, if you look at the pie chart it doesn't take a pet rabbit long to believe I have an interest in KEFI.

The reason this is called a chat room is so folk can bandy around information, unlike court rooms where you swear an oath to be truthful.

Stebo, if KEFI are being slandered by an Ethiopian newspaper then they need to get into court with their new pot of cash, get an apology and a cash settlement for the awful lies being publicised in that country.

HA has an office, let's see if he can stop this paper, and remember by XMAS if the story has legs it could go around the world.

In fairness it would help if the newspaper declared their source, which would I assume exonerate them and KEFI could approach the source for compensation.

Something the newspaper reminds readers is that KEFI is issuing 1.9bn shares to get the HA paycheck over the line. I am voting against and I am sure others are. I know it won't make much difference as when the RNS for numbers counting for voting there were only 9m against last time. I know that little lie couldn't be possible.

Next fundraiser HA completes will double the share total if you let this go ahead.

There has been a school and perhaps houses being planned. However the Ethiopian reporter is getting a bit tired of KEFI excuses and are inventing stories.

HA has been good at fundraising from shareholders, he might need to try some slick PR around TK so Ethiopians can see some action.

For the very reason that Kefi have for years pushed out the fact that funding is just around the corner in their RNS( I think I have been on here since 2018) and invested in Kefi since 2019, the model of the business has started to smell a bit pongy. A number of interested people are questioning if there is something dodgy going on.

If that is the case for a handful of investors then it might be that the authorities need to do some basic checks just to show that behind the scenes we don't have a board that is continually stringing long term PI along and right down the garden path.

Perhaps some of the shareholders could get together and visit a solicitor who could advise them how to investigate something that might be more complicated that the average shareholder could imagine?

Whether it was shares or cash there would have to be an amount handed in the accounts so the auditors know where the money were going. However shareholders have no legal right to this information, as I understand.

My last paragraph did state that if this were to do with trading shares then there would be a paper trail of buys and sells.

If this TW journo guy was given a pile of shares then he might be selling a few before the last fundraiser. If he were just being tipped off that banks arn't signing so sell any holdings you have then someone at the London Stock Exchange should be able to look back and see if he was given shares or if he was trading at key periods.

I am a PI so don't have a clue how to check facts on ownership of shares. Kefi doesn't even update their capital structure page to the new 7.06bn and they don't tell you how many Greedy Harry has under his control.

All these kind of details show that KEFI do have something to hide.

Updating records is important and it helps the market work out the market cap of the company.

I would believe that he was an insider and that Harry informed him about the five or six pump and dumps so he could profit by buying millions of shares and dumping them similar to RAB Capital who in my mind must have been tipped off by Kefi exec when to sell the pump and dump.

Otherwise company book keepers would be able to find money going out to TW or an associate so it could end up in his bank account. The accounts are audited but shareholders have no legal right to access to the fine detail, just the yearly sums.

Only HMRC could verify money going into someone's account.

Companies house keeps a share record, but I have no idea how you access any time period for a company. Perhaps there is a broker someone knows who would know how to see who was buying shares and selling them, especially in May 23 and Oct 23 when RAB decided the project was broken and need to make back some money on the pump and dump?

Yes it is interesting, they said it would be a $320 finance agreement and in Feb 24 they were waiting drawdown.

This year in Nov the Ethiopian press reports 'Of the original $500 million required to finance Tulu Kapi’s development, KEFI and its consortium of international banks, contractors, and investors have collectively conditionally approved $470 million.'

Ok we are supposedly being bunged another $50m as reported by Greedy HA.

I wonder if next year they will still be a couple of million short but it will be a $700million project?

Everything was on track, except it wasn't.

The Company's schedule for Tulu Kapi remains for community preparations to commence this quarter (Q3 2023), ahead of procurement and construction commencement next quarter (Q4 2023), all synchronised with the Government's continued upgrading of security, as already committed.

But surely with all the TV footage of turtles and other sea life being strangled with plastic, bio plastics should be the solution.

We have to remember Kefi has never earned any money in the five years I have been crossing my fingers the SP has come down from 2.5p to half a penny.

The very clever tactic of fundraising while misleading shareholders with the promise of gold has kept the company solvent and kept directors with a steady stream of shares which can be discretely sold via trust funds when required.

The board have not been responsible with shareholders good nature.

I suppose I am hanging on for a miracle.

Anyone know where the published list of so say institutions who bought into the capital raise is or is that just another rumour among the many being floated for this share?

Spose if this drifts to below 5, then I can't see punters selling as they will have made a loss on their recent purchase encouraged by the Kefi CEO and MOB of ramping supporters.

So the £6m cash raised will be used to explore another patch of countryside.

The company could have put pilot production at TK with a phase one production line. This would have impressed the banks and they would have helped us to upscale much quicker.
