I go back to bp , shell and harbour. So who has all shareholders interests at heart. Serica Energy or the other players. ???????

As many lth holders will all ready know we are now appraoching a valution of around nine hundred million for the entire group if it goes through. Tailwinds debt level should be around 150 milion or less by the time of completion. We should also be sitting on around five to six hundred milion,but you never know with Serica as there always seems to be some large expensive at the last minute before results.
So whatever happens now the valuation is attractive apart from our new coalition labour concervative party may do which is probably the reason why we continue to fall.
Maybe some wood be buyer could make an offer for us and tailwind seperately.

You see it i see it and every tom cobly that is invested here sees it. So why does Serica and its largest holders do not???
The whole situation hear stinks to high heaven inmho.The oil and gas industry in the North sea has been well and truley shafted by a gvnmt who cannot offer any assurances unless the Labour praty gives them permission. So we are now left with calls of further taxation and guess which companies wiill suffer by this . No i Serica Energy, No 2 Harbour energy No 3 every other company supplying UK energy needs.Who benefits No 1 Overseas lng suppliers, No2 BP, Shell as they no doubt will be part of the imports in some way.
Come on Serica show some metal and move money overseas into an environment that will benefit ALL shareholders and not few by some deal that has been construned behind closed doors .

This is no joke. BP have highlighted how to run an Oil and Gas company in the current climate we are now in. Why oh why is Serica coming across as if they are on some kind of Kamakazi mission. As i posted earlier the main investors on here have also a lot to answer for inmho.
As for some secret agreements then if this does prove the case then they have just breached and broken practically every financial law. Our hope as intimated buy other investors is that this gets taken over before the deal completes. Once again both BP and Shell have proved that they are the better investment and have read HMG and their shareholders better than Serica obviously has on all fronts.I think it said it all when BP sold its stake.Still hindsight a wonderful thing, but this company constantly lets shafreholders down via its non existant pr machine.

Also the dividend is my concern as well .They could justify a cut because of the yield on the current share price

fwiw i have recently bought a few more. At this rate i will end up holding near enough my original holding. As you say there should be little downside from here .Unless of course hmg puts the boot in again.

Both BP and Shell strong today. BP up nearly six percent. The problem with the tax is that they escape most of it due them being global. Serica and other independments in the North Sea are now going to suffer even more. Inmv the tax will go up with the likes of Serica ,Harbour being once again worse off while BP and Shell escape this once again.
It really is awfull and to make it worse Serica is still pinning all its hopes on the North Sea.
I feel very let down by HMG and the stance the bod have taken together with the larger holders voting for this deal. They are all the same as far as i am concerned
Where will it end. Maybe good old hmg has been mulling the idea of nationalising the North Sea. If so what price will we get for our shares. Three pounds or there abouts would suit me if they get on with it

This can still be stopped. Quite simply by pillow talk inmv. They must have a personal life. Simply just pay some escort male or female and ethnicmail them to not do the deal. just a thought .but it may work inmho and only my opinion and certainly not any one elses opinion especially the bbc ,

To follow on..In a way i think people who have not invested or do not believe in certain shares in the majority of casses just talk a share down as opposed to selling shares they have not got. As i posted previously to sell short requires stock from somewhere.Maybe they are spread betting the shares.Thats all i can think of. I would be interested to know how a small company can be short sold unless you already hold shares sell them and then buy them back.

If i worked in the oil and gas industry words would fail me as to how angry i would be with the ignorance of politicians and the media. Collectively the industry really does now need to go on the offensive and educate politicians,media and the general public as a whole. It has been one sided for far too long inmho.

I'm baffled pray tell me how you can short sell a share with a market cap of eighteen million in this as it is NOT on the stock lending list. Btw it is too small.
So in other words it is Spivs that use the words of short selling without fully understanding how this actually works. Nobody Is short selling they are mearly not investing and just spreading their thoughts.
It just about summs up our society.

What really would highlight and put the product out there to the masses would be a celebrity chef. Why not have a celebrity chef cook the product and present it in some culinary dish. I am sure this would gain a lot of possitive press coverage.inmo

This could be a golden opportunity for Serica to get across its green credentials and how they have reduced carbon emmisions. A major PR exercise involving the press. politicians and even schools explaining how the clountry needs them in order to reduce imports and explain why extra taxes will create a nightmare going forward for this country. They could even go to universities and schools on some sort of road show. Also they could create literature and videos to target these institutions. In other words a major pr exercise is now needed not only from Serica ,but the rest of the industry as well inmv.

Maybe genuine holders on here can help spread the word. As i posted before i emailed the Japan Times from your link copying in the Rns . I think the press in general will pick up on this if individual people contact them as opposed to the company . Its a bit like politicians if that makes sense.
It may even be worth contacting the Gates foundation together with the Clinton foundation and Who. To name a few.
