Good riddance. BP are not a uk company. The only uk oil and gas companies are Serica, which this MOB sold out on and other small independents such as harbour, and enquest, UK plc have taxed these to the hilt whislt still purchasing lng from overseas supplies where BP are connected. ( Tax rates half what UK producers a re paying ) hypocrytical or what.
And this lot are threaghtening to go overseas when they are not being hit by the windfall tax. Come onsomething smells somewhere ????

forgot to add. The treasury have indicated that the price cap will not rise. So once again it will be down to those nasty oil and gas companies to cover this in some way. I.E Serica,Harbour, Enquest etc etc.

I am sure macuria would be happy to make a quick return of thirty percent. A nice cash offer at three pounds fifty would suit me now together with a hefty dividend payment on top. Could be a pipe dream, but who knows. Serica must surely now be at a decent size to attract suitors.

Fwiw this is my largest and longest share investment I have held. Nye on twelve years. So despite my rants at times. (Which I hasten to add are more at HMG) i am still a believer.

My view is that Serica could end up the darling company of the oil and gas industry operating in the North Sea.
Due to the efforts they are putting into reducing carbon emissions. Let alone now being one of the largest producers within this provence.
Surely hmg will look on them a little more favourabley. They should be applauded along with shareholders due to backing GB plc

Also we may still get a pleasant surprise re wft. Especially how gas has now fallen substantially.
