Hi Guys,
Don't forget to use Whimsy as part of your investment strategy today [sarcasm].

Vas disappears and then Raymondo appears. This reminds me of the film "The Fallen". Raymondo, you don't work in the NHS by any chance do you?
MMs loving this! If only I could remember some of my account numbers!
Think I'll have 70,000 as well. Why buck the trend?
Even more mad money going in today. Surely someone knows something.
No Raymondo, you predicted 2p and later the post was deleted. You can't get away with that one. We saw it and I'm sure that others can confirm what you said.
Err, no Raymondo, you predicted 2p in a week. If I followed your advice, I'd be broke. Timing is everything, and yours is completely out. I never said that you are crazy, by the way. You might be deluded. Claiming that everything you said was right apart from the timing is a complete fantasy. You predicted 2p in a week. Where is the 2p? Come back when it gets to 2p please (like never?).
Mad money going in today. What's up? Must be a rumour going around somewhere.
Looks like the shorts have been caught with their shorts down this morning, to coin a phrase.
Steve; hope you mean a long term hold rather than long term hole :)
Another couple of £1m transactions at price of 730. Could be shorts closing?
I wasn't sure if they were shorts, but the recorded transaction price was about 702 on some of them, so difficult for me to see how this could be a sell on such large transactions, unless someone is getting preferential treatment, and I know that that never happens.
Another successful day of shorting for some. Obviously they had to close early to take advantage of the nice weather.
I noticed some large transactions at the end of the day for the past two days that appear to be shorting activity. These are trades that amount to almost £1m in smaller transactions recorded outside of normal trading hours each day. More evidence of a sustained shorting attack on the company. Hence the continued fall in the price. Not sure what their target price or length of time they plan to hold. They may switch to long positions at any time and force it back up again. Changed my opinion to HOLD until further action.
Still stand by my buy opinion on the balance of things. IMHO
Correction, as you say, around £6 million, not £60 million, got the decimal point in the wrong place.
Just to give this a rethink, AHL have shorted about £60m worth of shares, by my calculations. Since there are only a few million changing hands on a daily basis, this could partly explain why the price is being held so low. However, this price also represents the price that the shorter has forced it down to. To keep it down, they'll need to short further, or hope that others continue to follow their lead. Are they willing to take the risk? Following the buy ratings issued in the media, I doubt it. This will move upwards soon from right here and is a ripe position for long term holders. Fill your boots. AMHO
It looks like you closed at the optimum price Terry. It doesn't seem to want to drop any further now. Shows signs of breaking back. I wonder how long AHL will hold on.
Agree. Price adjustment overdone. Majority of shares held by institutions, hence less shares in circulation. Therefore the two shorting attacks have had a more significant effect on the share price in the short term. JPMorgan are presumably taking this into account with their rating, which reflects the longer term trend. All my own opinion and subject to review by others. Any news of further acquisitions will push this on. Hovering around the 720 mark as I highlighted earlier.

Just to add some balance to my previous posts, which were a bit gloomy to be honest, some analysts take into account the return on capital employed. Looking at Future latest return, its a whopping 1000+%!
WT*! Is that right? Get the *. outta here!
