Feb 2020 for me, unfortunately bought on the way up by much more substantial amounts than my first few months. Still continue to buy on the way down and could end up with egg on my face, sadly I’d be happy to break even as I will just chalk up to a savings account since the reality is I’d have probably ****ed that money up against a wall
Dgr- No they don’t. They have first refusal if newcrest were selling it to newmont but they’re not. They’re are considering the sale of their company, it’s two very different things
Sorry mark, can’t edit my post. I meant Hav not newcrest. We could not buy the other 70% is what I’m saying. It’s ludicrous.
Ace - sorry I didn’t realise this had become a fantasy board. Maybe GGP can become the government of the world too then yeah?
GGP could not afford newcrest and would never get the capital without losing too much. A bank would laugh at them, they aren’t even a miner. What a silly thread.
Bigdownunder -
“So according to Callum Baxter if Newcrest sell out to Newmont they cannot include the Greatland share of Havieron in the sale as it is not theirs to sell.”
What do you mean according to Baxter, it’s the law. You can’t sell something that’s not yours unless there is a contract stating that in the event of … then … will happen. Why do you need Baxter to tell you the obvious?
“There seems to be an agreement in place that Greatland would be offered first refusal to buy the remaining 70% of the project when there is a value put to it.”
That’s interesting but I should imagine that’s only if Hav was up for sale. They aren’t asset stripping if they sell to newmont so there is no first refusal.
I don’t see the conflict still dodge. They represent the big boy not the minnow. There interests align with said big boy so I’m struggling to see the conflict. If they were representing us whilst having an open short then fair enough.
Also, let’s not get it twisted, the short was and is minuscule, it’s all part of hedging and has never been anything to worry about.
What’s the conflict?
Have I missed something, what were ‘we’ expecting?
This feels like substantial growth news, a continuation of building a huge business, that or paying his mates with my money, not sure which.
JoubertDuquense - I have no investing mistake, what are you on about?
If you want to read about all the unsubstantiated claims and lies that have been peddled on here then go ahead, I’m not gonna dig it all back up for you. Weirdo
Every wild unsubstantiated claim from hydro and costa et al.
Read the sentence again, I never said anything I said never came to fruition because I never came out with fairy tales
Hannahjack. When I go green instead of red. Even the fact that everything I argued about with the likes of hydro et Al that I was either right about or never came to fruition hasn’t managed to make me post positivity! That said, one day Rodney it will be green
All these outlandish claims created by hydro and his band of merry dweebs still linger on, it’s ridiculous.
Probably Pedro to be fair, he’s the type
Delusional
How bad this place has got.
Someone paid 9p doesn’t make the price 9p bellers. Probably done on a free app like toro or whatever it’s called
Speedy, I don’t see 9p?
If inflation doesn’t cripple you then dilution certainly will have a go
Really sorry to hear that Tig, my condolences.
Anyone thinking Shaun has the credentials to fill the ncm boots are absolutely bonkers. You own a few poxy shares in a small company and you live in a bubble of that company. It’s cringeworthy. Chill out you part time millionaire fantasists
