Later than I thought for some reason. Thanks
Can someone remind me what date we expect the quarterly results, is it early next week?
For clarity, since my name has been mentioned I still think you're over zealous, I do think you over play your hand to it's extremities and I believe you don't grasp what influence you have and with influence comes responsibility which unfortunately you don't always realise which is what causes people like myself and now Kevin to challenge.
What I didn't want though is to be that person constantly hammering you for everything as that's not me and I was bordering on malicious with it so spoke to you privately to air my grievances.
If I had one wish it would be for you talk about the geology stuff and stay away from talking about whose buying what, whose selling what, whose manipulating what etc etc but alas I can't see that ever happening so you will always antagonise people who recognise something as being ambiguous, incorrect or disingenuous.
Anyway, my two pennorth since my name was brought up :)
The newcrest website for Hav stated
Newcrest is expected to release the results of its Pre-Feasibility Study for the Project by late calendar year 2021.
He calls himself the gentleman racer
I might pop in Tiggerman :D :D
Why do people announce a green binning like a badge of honour. I can just see lenz green binning someone, announcing to the room and being stood there waiting for a raucous round of applause. It’s not happening pal, get a life.
1. Bought in post Newcrest. (March 2019)
2. Bought in Jan (ish) 2018
Which one is it Walter?
Anyway. Work to do. Said my peace and I'll bow out of talking to you again until the next time you come up with a lie.
When you're good with computers things don't become time consuming, hours are not needed ;).
You are right on one thing though, when you tell the truth it's easy. Your dates of buying across the two posts don't add up, you are Walter Mitty and I claim my five pounds!
“I’m a holder since 1.75p post newcrest farm out upped my stake on reading the recent Hav RNS” - 6th feb 2020
“ I bought on a spike at 2.2 and 2.3p I think and I was sat here with a 30, 40% then maybe 50% loss for what felt like well over a year through 2018 and most of 2019” - 29th September 2021
What's your average price Freddie?
So what was your plan here Freddie?
Freddie - how quick was you aiming for a return? Surely if you’re an investor you know your money could be tied up at least for a couple of years. Surely you had a plan when you invested… what was it?
Why would you be happy to break even on something that is virtually guaranteed to earn you a profit if you are patient or were you here for a quick win. If so fair enough but I can’t agree with your sentiment as I am here for the big win not a quick win and it will happen, just may take time.
Djfwatty - I wouldn't say that 2020 brought about a rise post results. Quite often it suffered a drop. It was the interim between the results where the price decided to rise after dropping.
Got to remember though, that was a cumulation of things, I remember when Sprott (I think it were) made a purchase and it ticked us up substantially along with all the excitement that was occurring a lot of the time as it was starting to take off, couple it with gold doing well, lockdown feeding into the markets with a lot of spare cash lying about and the fact that people were generally excited because it had fresh momentum.
This year it's not risen because the markets are very different to last year, we've had a substantial seller in GH, we have shorters where I don't ever recall seeing any last year, it's probably a great share to pile into when it's rising because of how it's dropped so a lot will be trying to make money elsewhere but will fly in here because everyone knows that this isn't your usual AIM share anymore. You watch when we start seeing a rise, it'll fly, a bit like EUA did. If I was a gambler and not a patient person I'd have probably sold, drifted in and out of other shares and come back to this on the rise because it's a safe bet.
That's my opinion anyway :)
Paulb20 - Why on earth do the company need to say anything about a seller?
Bonkers - Whilst you're not wrong, it's also much nicer to be sitting much higher with a bigger paper profit so people wanting news is fairly understandable even if you're in it for the long haul. I know I felt a general lot happier at least in the mid 20's let alone the mid 30's. I'd probably be a lot happier if I also had more top up money as well as it happens I'm out so it's painful seeing it at these levels and not being able to top up without heading for divorce.
Do you not greenbin her onename? :D
I respectfully disagree that the posts of the weekend were more measured. Pretty certain the 4 posts as part of that thread that called into question Hydro's credibility, accused him of ramping and basically took the mick were certainly no more measured than mine this morning.
I read the thread last night but generally you'll not see me posting on weekends because unlike many on here it would seem I actually have a fairly active social life. I watched a terrible shower of ****e on Saturday at 12:30 and spent the rest of the day in Manchester, I then played football with a terrible hangover on Sunday. The last thing on my mind was getting into reading posts about nickel or even gold when all I wanted to do was recover!
What I do agree on is changing the subject! Feel free to do it instead of contributing to the nonsense you're moaning about.. Hydro has said what he has said, we will await (again) for evidence and hopefully when it does materialise we will all be buzzing but if it doesn't materialise it just adds a further dent into his reputation.
Either way, you said, so let's do it... Move on :)
Anyone ever come across a book "The UK traders bible"? It's a bit old but I picked it up for £2 last week on the back of a post on here in relation to that trade that went through and then was amended, got loads of nuggets of information on the market itself at first glance. Should be a good read.
