I'm no macro economics expert but I find the massive sell-off we've seen a bit bizarre. There's plenty of commentary about the FED now being seen to be too late to cut rates, just as they were too late to raise them. These commentators are factoring in the FED having to push through 2 cuts of 50 basis points each before year end and rates down to 3.00% by end of 2025. Should that happen, I can't see how it won't be a fillip for equities and private assets, especially growthy ones. CHRY has a few of those!
Could be wrong - second guessing these things is a bit of mugs game, even for top economists, but that's my reading. Definitely not a moment to knee-jerk sell any of my investments - if I liked them last week, I should like them even more at these valuations.
