Seems I stirred a bit of a hornet's nest among the bulls. A lot of assumptions. I've held this for years (buys at 35p and 16p), but don't often comment on it because there's not much to say. It's been a disappointment. It got a 'special mention' yesterday because I got around to watching Adolpho and didn't like what I saw. For those who want to exist in an echo chamber, taking daltry's advice and filtering me would be sensible. As daltry says, the jury's out until we see improvement in the hard figures. Then we'll all feel better. Less waffle, more head down and start demonstrating.

Very unconvinced by the presentation. This guy Adolpho - my god he likes talking - but it's mostly waffle. Currently, just to remind him and anybody else, this is a valueless two-bit company that struggles to eke out any kind of reasonable profit. I want to hear sensible, incremental steps to turn it around, yet the talk is of 'tech' and 'AI integration' and 'hyperscalers'....on and on and on.... What planet, where??

It's a shame they've given up the ghost, but the truth is the deteriorating picture in UK plc is ruining the chances of investments like this.

I am taking no chances in these markets, so I've sold half my holding this morning - a rare profit - but am hanging onto the rest for now.

It's precarious. Company says they'll become 'free cashflow positive', but currently debt is high and going up. Company has had to put up with low quality revolving door management teams, so should we trust them now? Macro conditions look bleak too. All-in-all, a lot to worry about with this company, but at a sp of 116p we knew that already.

And I'm seeing another wave of delistings from AIM. Good old Hornby today. EKF soon?

That is very much my feeling. At the same time, the volatility of most of my shares is astonishing and getting worse in 2025 so far.... there is no rhyme or reason to it.... other than, with the exception of a handful of companies, we seem to be witnessing the decline of an entire market. No buyers, no liquidity, a handful of small trades can move the sp hugely.

For years now, small caps worldwide have underperformed and the smaller the company the worse it is. And if the host country happens to be out of favour too, such as the UK, cast adrift from Europe and increasingly the USA, a debt-ridden 'open' economy in an era of de-globalisation and tariffs. Oh dear! Why did I ever believe the old stat that small caps have outperformed large caps by 2-3% p.a. for decades, albeit with increased volatility? Not any more and not for a while yet I think. These shifts take years to play out and I can't see a catalyst to reverse what's going on. Besides, God knows how close we are to something like war. We may be measuring our wealth in cans of baked beans, not shares. Sorry, feeling somewhat depressed .

Mr-O, exactly! We had a chance to escape at 330p 10 months ago. Should've taken it.

P.S. Excellent summary from riverbliss, below and performance has remained below par, as he predicted. The other problem this trust has is the regular continuation/redemption votes, which have shrunk the size of the trust considerably. Plus the paying of divi out of capital, as riverbliss mentions. All-in-all, my patience is wearing thin.

I see Saba Capital, activist investment trust investor extraordinaire, is sniffing around BBH. Wonder when that started? Today, an RNS telling us they've upped their holding:

Actually, investors buying AIM off the LSE Group could be good news Dartron. I've been wondering about the LSE Group and their AIM 'asset'. They are entirely uninterested in AIM, being a company that earns overwhelmingly from data, not listings these days. A new committed owner of AIM with a few good ideas might pep it up a bit. Depending on the quality of the owner of course.;) Probably a bunch of crooks, as befits AIM!

Keeps falling. Presume an update is due and investors are getting nervous or maybe there's been a leak. Nobody wants to buy. Bit of a stale story here, we need something to jizz it up.

At least not disastrous. The SP is so beaten-up anyway. Debt up but so is free cashflow and they expect further deleveraging in the coming year.

Maybe, but the minuscule sp reaction says the market will want to see improvements over a sustained period before crediting or trusting Boohoo's management again. Fair enough.

Up 10% this morning. Name-checked as a 'buy' in a recent Vox Markets piece.

Just received an email about a forthcoming Investor Meet Company Q&A. What will they say?

Been on my list for a while but the fact that this is one of the few shares still falling after yesterday's general carnage has attracted my attention. I'm in at 331p and hoping for a profitable investment taking a 2-3 year view.
