Knutsfordnotary Basically ACT is the production of electricity from waste. i.e. converting waste whether by way of biomass or otherwise into electricity then electricity storage facilities are needed to store the electricity at times when production of say the biomass plant exceeds electricity requirements e.g. through the night. Hope this helps.
Bwana, St Tropez is quite clearly a deramper of the first order, but he writes convincingly. No investor needs to make 7 deramping posts in a day. Probably paid by the column inch. Certainly not an investor, therefore only has one objective and that is NOT to inform readers!
now .4 on yahoo finance up another 11%
Sammy, the only point I would make is that my 3 best performing shares are all AIM listed and have virtually zero on the LSE BB and they do not have a telegram group. i.e. all the evidence is the less that is on a BB the better. BB's as far as I can see are for ,miners, oilies and more recently coronavirus type stocks. Even with the miners my thinking is that less correspondence the better. There is an important reason to use LSE over Telegram and that is that you see all the RNS's, which is actually what matters as opposed to yet another person's opinion. Personally I already know as much about the BMN business as I could possibly want/need to know!!
FYI on Yahoo finance it is shown as 36cents up 28.5%!, at least its the right direction and shows someone is prepared to chase the price.
As always just ignore spurious stories. There will always be doomsters. Night also follows day. The second quarter production figures factually give you a base line to see the degree of profitability of BMN during the quarter having regard to the vanadium price and this will improve during quarter 3. Fact. So whilst you can't actually see the actual financials at the moment you don't need to be a financial wizard to see the Corner has been well and truly turned some while ago and all the current sales are doomsters looking at historical trends. That is not investing it is kicking the bucket, when the water is flowing well. All fool them. Never a better time to buy in my opinion.
The continual theories about sellers, mm's etc.. might be part of an issue BUT just look and see how many buyers there have been today. The sum total is pathetic, and until PI's buy into this story again the share price will not rise significantly. Ironically the investment is good, the fundamentals are good, the current profit level is good even without any VRFB or further increase in V prices and one day the message will get through but like everyone else I find it frustrating that people can't see this.
Thanks Pdub for your analysis, I agree since this was a trading update there is little more that is positive that could be said. Fortune is obviously confident that everything is going in the right direction and the numbers from now on will get better by the quarter, yippee.
Sanchez, if you look for the negatives you can indeed find them, I can think of at least a couple more, but I fail to see how this helps anybody unless you are looking for a cheaper price to buy more. I would also add on the converse side that after the recent investor presentation and Q & A everyone was pretty positive and that was only a couple of weeks ago. Have you forgotten that? Like all investments this has its black moments BUT you can see for yourself that the fundamentals are absolutely fine and as I said previously I believe this will be backed up by hard figures shortly.
Sanchez as you say sentiment is low at the moment, and the issue in my book is not the claims of a persistent seller or sellers but lack of buyers. Lack of buyers will continues until BMN actually produce the 2nd quarter figures, not long now I hope. There will always be sellers for one reason or another at all levels its just at the moment there is inadequate confidence in the way forward. Most investors in BMN know and agree with the storyline but you can't expect new investors in their droves until you actually produce information in black and white showing increase in production and revenue at the same time. Tomorrow is too far away for new investors at the moment in particular on AIM
CBAx. If you look at the trades and times, this is just one seller trying to get out/reduce their holding. The price goes down because there are no buys. There is nothing wrong with the project or co. as far as I am aware.
whilst they may be nice to have, as far as I am aware you won't be able to do anything with them until trading actually starts on Nasdaq, I think it is unlikely there is any premarket
Bolgas, where's the evidence that Q2 is going to bring bad news! Only a doom merchant would say that. Q1 was not very good but everyone knew that. Everyone knew that the results were going to be bad. Q2 has just finished and will have benefitted from reasonable v prices. Qs3 &4 will be even better
Posters on this BB frequently claim that the lousy SP is due to an ongoing institutional seller. The facts don't really bear this out. Taking the latest figures available for shareholdings being 28th May (see Bushveld website)At that time the five largest PI platforms, HL, II, Halifax ,AJBell and Barclays wealth accounted for 55.65% of the shares. A month earlier they accounted for 55.15% of the shares. i.e. only half of one per cent, which equates to just under 6m shares, i.e. a difference in value of barely £1m, and that was at the price then. The conclusion therefore is that it is an excess of sells to buys by PI's. Basically lacking patience and conviction.
The most important part of Hayden's tweet which I agree is only words, before someone else does, is his comment that Investor interest is really picking up now. There must be some substance to this, unless you believe him to be disingenuous, which I don't.
