GP, I disagree with your earlier post. Whilst I believe there will be some staged payments I would expect there to be at least a 50% cash payment on completion of sale.

The test results only provided small amounts of gas & liquids to surface which, to my mind indicates damage throughout although thats just my thoughts.

Mymine, if they had tested A2 before drilling B1 they would have known what they did wrong & saved all partners money.
I don't believe it was just the bottom of the wells that were mucked up. I think the formation damage they caused was pretty much throughout.

Your arguement is well reasoned. However imo (& most on this board would agree) we will not get the NPV10 figure. SW in the investor presentation intimated a price had already been agreed & that Victory was done, no doubt subject to DD.
For the sake of balance I should add that several months ago I bumped into Malcolm G W whose opinion was that RBD would achieve at least the NPV10 figure.
So it just shows how clueless we all are lol.

If you were to listen to the latest RBD Investor presentation you would hear that the sale of their Victory project will soon be concluded. SW one of the joint ceo's intimated a price had alreasy been agreed & DD will soon be concluded so I don't see any issues with them not having sufficient funds for their share of the costs of progressing WN. Whilst I am not a fan of RBD's management it does appear that they have at last done something right.
When it comes to WN the spotlight must fall on Rathlin who managed to screw up the drilled wells. One can only hope that for the next one they leave it in the hands of somebody more competent.

Barking, I agree Miton are selling but they still hold a load & volumds are so low there's no way they can liquidate their entire holding in short order. I don't think we will try to delay the sale of V & I doubt the interested party will want to either. It's a shame but once a fund manager decides to sell due to a change in their strategy they won't give a sh*t.

I hope you're right about the multiples on the sp !

However I agree with JD that things are most likely still on track with regard to the C sale.

Watts to a large degree the process is beyond their control. At the Investor presentation SW gave the impression the actual strike price had already been agreed on.
If there was an issue they would have to issue an RNS imo.

All I know is that the sp is tragic. A testa.ent to the many placings which has destroyed investor confidence in the Co.

There's a twitter link an article by Ruth Heyhurst stating that the WN-A planning application is under review by a Govt minister. I was under the impression that everything had been agreed. Is there anyone here who can shed some light on this ?

I'm still convinced V is a done deal & that a price has been pretty much agreed. Looks like there's still a bit of DD left to do but I see no reason why matters should'nt be concluded by the end of August.
From what the dynamic duo have said there would be hell to pay if it was delayed.
We're due an updated CPR this month I believe as well.
I remain clueless as to what price we will get for V the same as everyone else really.

I invested here due to MW making a case for them. Wish I'd never heard of them. We have been lied to for years & Boo Boos Stensgards salalary is nothing short of a disgrace. We need to get shot of the lot of them. Personally I would shoot them.
