Sorry persimmon but that's always been the case so you'll have to try a bit harder there. Junior oilers will always use a gcos & the bigger boys will use a close, which I think is a little bit over 50% enough to tempt a bigger player in the event of success. The lack of sp traction today is more to do with non belief by the market in the management's abilities.

I agree re Beacon, exploration, appraisal & production all wrapped into one. We could have got a decent slice of them with the money we've frittered away on our recent acquisitions.

I've been looking at UJO's investment in Beacon which makes far more sense than our 2 fools recently as in LNe , in particular the barking mad Simwell fiasco !
