S&S are very adept at using the media when it suits. However it surely must now be time to issue an update. As pi's we have not imo been privvy to info that convinced the insti's to invest i.e. volumetrics. In addition there is no reason why we can't be given some form of information on WN progress as in are we waiting for permits or the design for the ewt.
As a long term holder i have seen my investment diluted by the recent funding & I have an expectation that RBD shold inform us of events. Am I getting p****d off, yes.

The fact of the matter is that we should be given some sort of operational update instead of being treated like mushrooms.

Can't fault the reasoning at all. RBDs costs for further drills have doubled as a result of their acquisition of 75% of Rathlin, so ewt already paid for, wnb 1 & 2 with maybe a further drill if Cadeby is good wont leave much in the pot for development costs.

For what it's worth I think an onshore oil field close to infrastructure should be readily saleable.

Understood Ru4, I would say taking WN to production would be a last resort & very expensive. My take is that there will be a price for the project but have no idea what that would be lol. $10-$12 per bbl would be my guess once fully appraised & a little bit more if condensate (it's oil imo)

The sale of WN would provide UJO with the funds for their share of production for Bisc. I'm going/hoping for a sale.

There is absolutely no way that the WN partners will try to take this to production. It's going to be far to big for them to do so, end of.

Yes, true value will be realized on the sale of assets but the sp will rise on success of varios projects too.

I think the EWT will be starting earlier than that.

Well we have to assume the resolution gets passed on the 28th & as a result I would hope we will get an RNS on the 29th that provides us with the volumetrics which have clearly been available to the II's for some time.
I find it utterly inconceivable that said II's invested on the basis of the info that we currently have.
It is unfortunate that details of the placing were leaked but that's the way it is, authorities don't care about even trying to regulate the AIM market & it does leak like a sieve.
All I can say is S&S had better have a compelling case for this & are not getting carried away on an ego trip !

fully appraised. I listened to a Graham Hill Wood interview where he mentioned if RBD didn't get a decent price for it they would increase their stake further. I sincerely hope that isn't the case.

Mixster just re read your post, I think they are already in possession of that info but would remain sensitive until the Rathlin/Rbd deal is passed. I cant see how Instis would stump up the cash without a great deal mofe info than we mere mortals have seen to date
