RE: money transfer from the poor to the rich16 Nov 2019 11:36
At the moment there is not one partner in this project that is covering themselves in glory. DB's RNS yesterday being the icing on the cake. If the placing isn't RNS'd on Monday a.m. pi's get crushed & he deserves to lose the support of all of us.
Yes you would hope that the placing price has already been agreed. However for an RNS to sal they are sounding out the market is shocking in the extreme. It'll be interesting to see how he conducts himself in his next interview. I'm thinking he's a complete tool.
I did pick up on SW's comments in that interview. However I still can't see them taking this to production, it'll be far too big for them. After the B wells have been drilled we could easily be looking at 400mbbls oil in place for WN & Cadeby, using 35% recovery which they could achieve especially as it has a gas cap & using $10 per bbl we're looking at $1.4 billion $550 mil net to us. Well that's my thinking on it anyway.
PDMSPiper I've been thinking along the same lines re Cadeby which would make the whole prospect massive WNB1 will tell us. I just wish they'd get a move on
Brocal, what we need is news on when the EWT will start. It's already been intimated that it won't be until q1 20 & unlikely WNB wells will slip to q2. Not UJO's fault but it makes it a target. Personally I'm very disappointed about how things are playing out.
Maybe but M&G clearly didn't participate in the raise, they may well be as ****ed off as ma about the dilution. I feel that today's rns merely provides us mere pi's with the info presented to the insti' some time ago so hardly surprising that the sp is moribund. The BRR media clip this morning was carp as in no meaningful additions apart from mentioning an exciting time over the next year OR SO thereby covering themselves for dalays in their prospectus delivered on the raise.

You can't really blame UJO. However Rathlin should have been quicker off the mark. Yet again very disappointing that we have to hear it the way we have. What if they find something of historical significance ? (unlikely) but if they did then progress could be delayed for months. Rathlin seem to have to do the survey so perhaps they can do everyone a favour & sort it out. Heid I get your point but it's utter bo***cks for RBD to provide time frames which are, within a matter of weeks, undermined by Rathlin.
It may be a 4 yr old story but the study still needs to be carried out. When you read the local community meeting notes compared to RBDs timeframes they are miles apart. My pet hate here is that the left hand doesn't seem to know what the right hands doing.
miker, I completely agree & a bidding war would be the icing on the cake lol. Fact it we don't really know the true value (if successful) as onshore discoveries such as this havn't happenned in donkeys years.
