BBN, excellent news but, despite his thieving and corruption becoming public knowledge, I'm still somewhat surprised that he went without actually being sacked. His dirt was out there for all to see and he was following the same strategy that all of Zumas scumbags follow - admit nothing and fight to the very end - yet he stepped down.
It certainly wasn't through honour (a la Nene) or loyalty to SA or to Cyril, or through any shame for what he did, so it must have been because of the legally-imposed deadline for Cyril to sack him tomorrow. And that just underlines the point you made about Cyrils long game and the independence of the courts in SA.
I wonder who's next for the long, slow drop? There's a helluva queue to be sure but Cyril is getting through them one by one.
But the bit I'm really waiting to see is when the first top politician is found guilty of corruption and is handed his orange overalls to wear during his long prison sentence.
That will mean a great deal to me as payback for all the fear those bent bastards put me through during my first few years of being invested here.
