MuchosWonga, don't forget that Doomsday is a Sunday this year and there isn't a 29th February.
Thanks MuchosWonga, greatly appreciated.
Does anybody know when Accustem Sciences shares should be allocated? I can't find any information at all.
COVID-19 testing lab goes online at Queen Mary
A new COVID-19 testing lab at Queen Mary University of London has started processing NHS Test and Trace samples from the UK population, to increase the country’s testing capacity. Queen Mary is part of a Testing Alliance announced in October, set up by life science cluster MedCity, which brings together world-leading universities, healthcare institutes, industry and pathology service providers. The alliance is using untapped resources and building on existing infrastructure and is anticipated to grow to offer at least 20,500 more COVID-19 tests a day for the UK.
I will try and find out who the supplier is.
Medexpress use PCR tests. If I can find anymore info tomorrow I will share it. Info from Gov website below about Rapid tests.
Some manufacturers are selling products containing COVID-19 testing kits that allow a swab or other type of sample to be taken at home or in the pharmacy setting, followed by a very rapid result within about 10 minutes.
These tests are different from the postal kits that are being used whereby the swab is taken by you at home and then returned by post or courier. (Refer to essential worker testing for more information.)
The current view by PHE is that use of products that give a very rapid result is not advised:
some of these products look for virus while others look for the body’s immune response to the virus. Such tests are very rapid and can work on a range of specimens including serum, plasma or finger-prick whole blood
there is little information on the accuracy of these rapid point of care tests, or on how a patient’s antibody response develops or changes during COVID-19 infection. It is not known whether either a positive or negative result is reliable
currently there is no published evidence about the suitability of these rapid point of care tests for diagnosing COVID-19 infection in a community setting
The University where I work uses these crap. Below is an answer to one of the FAQ's which confirms to me that they are more than likely to cause numerous more problems than they will solve.
The PCR test has a higher level of accuracy. If you test positive in the lateral flow test at the University’s facility but then negative in the follow-up PCR test then you are considered by NHS Test and Trace to be negative for Covid-19. This means that you would not need to self-isolate.
If there is a bid in the background which would be leaked anyway, the big boys would want as many shares as possible at low prices so by the time the offer had been broadcast to the public and then negotiated upwards, they would make maximum profit. We all know how devious share trading is by those in the know.
