Sold friday and remaining shares this morning. Not impressed by interview at all. Confirmed my suspicions on peripheral assets. Amapa not producing for another 2 years ar least, can see this headong back to 20p.

I bought in with £5k a few years ago on a lazy little punt on rare earths and lithium. I did no research, not going to lie. I basically wrote off the investment, then with the utter joke that was the RNS on mcarthur that caused a spike i hit the bid. I thought this was a fraud and a dead duck. Then the amapa situation really piqued my interest.

I genuinely appreciate work from some on this board; EV and observer. High quality stuff. I used it to be a fund manager, i valued my good analysts highly. I’d hire EV in a heartbeat, he’s on the screws. From checking his research and the doing my own on amapa, i bought in pretty substantially for me. I then sold out around 26p when the chart failed to break out last time. I bought back with about a 20-21p average not long ago. I’m long 586k shares. I think this is worth a quid on amapa alone. All the other stuff other than EMH is a side show to me. If it comes in happy days, if it doesn’t no tears. KM pulled an absolute rabbit out of the hat with amapa. Tremendous stuff.

Kind of think if i was “in here since REM days and still massively underwater” I wouldn’t be pumping myself as some kind of investment sage and harping on at “newbies” not knowing what they’re on about who are up 50%.

That’s what makes a market i guess.
