I'm not in the least bit down thanks.

I see a buyout within 2 years so a premium to the share price st the time. However I also see markets very bad and likely to stay down for some time once in full swing. Im not at all down about that either. Its just what i expect. So a takeout price between 60p and 80p is my best complete guess. If we secure a buyout prior to market crashing and staying down £1 seems possible. Thats not the likely scenario for me with the bods plans and It really is finger in the air though.

It was discussed here in case you missed it that quite a few posters expected some news ahead of Results. It looks like that isn't going to happen. Are you awake! Therefore any hopes of pre Results additional newsflow will be post Results I.e. nothing before as largely expected.

Surprised we've not had any pre Results newsflow yet. Perhaps Monday but looking like it's delayed to afterwards.

Phew. Will do CooperD. Stick to what you know can be best. Whether I like YourGene or not is totally irrelevant when it's been so financially rewarding this last year.

I started a hedge today shorting FTSE via ETF.

Had hoped to increase in the near term and average up waiting for drop. Looks like I will have to wait longer, at least.

Nobody is saying negative change has come to YourGene. Things company specific are to the best of my knowledge continuing to improve.

It will not help if there's a wider market rout. That is what I do expect and our relentless delays have and I expect will endure holders are still on board when it hits and before significant value is apparent. I think you may have not understood and casting doubt on my selling is just plain rude.

It's common sense on buying back lower with a trading element, not to have that as a core holding and not to keep it When one has wider market concerns. Like you I make my own mind up.

US markets having rather a bad day as if to underline the macro market risks of which I spoke - not related specifically to YourGene where i know of no problems other than delays and historicslly underwhelming and numbers-light rns.

I took out a hedge today intending to build it up before any slide started. I will have to wait and hope this isn't the start of it yet.

Delays mean it's inevitable we will get caught in wider market probs before sigmificant value can be delivered, whether its actually starting now or not just yet.

Good thing is imminent Results should ride through the early drops, if this is even the start rather than just a bad day!
Irrespective though, markets will curtail the dreamers who need a 18 month to 2 year timeframe as the bod avoid a trade sale to carry on the project of building up the business and company reputation lost in the SL tenure and associated strategic litigation errors with resources tied up. I'd like an active push in building up for a bid. Not to avoid a bid whilst building, repairing and cementing reputations

I'm probably the only poster here or almost who speaks objectively and honestly even if I am wrong.

I hold a big holding built up again after trading. It's my goal to reduce. Makes perfect sense to me especially as I see topping indices with throw over nasdaq. Also 1929 rebound lasted 5 months. Tech bust 3 months and we are in month 4. As I say who knows but I want to reduce with trading element bought back lower.

Equally I can't fathom why its so unbelievable to believe but there you go. :-)

That natdan Fool is absolutely true. The company (bod) want to prove themselves after the mess. Only the ceo is new and SL etc all still there. The company need to get the markets perception changed and are working and succeeding.

My pet hate is anyone who never sees any negative and only ever posts positive no matter what and when this coincides with predictions that are always too rosy and proven not met it ends up being a fairy tale. Once this m.o. is established I take them at least as subtle rampers.

We simply don't know but imv there are starting to be signs that it's just starting to break down. I like to act early. Acting late is too late.
If it's a false dawn I will not mind. I am only reducing for a profit so content whatever in reducing on the way up through news and keeping 2/3rds holding intact.

Multiple delays suffered throughout here are a potential concern to me for realising our true worth before the next market leg down. I hope it's not going to impact us but we are notorious for delays and that's not changed whereas our bod want to prove themselves after the litigation debacle.

I may have something relative to say. It doesn't have to be a rampers talking shop even if thats the admission for entry here

I am optimistic as this is a good company with a great product and now a good ceo. There can be a bigger and/or different picture too. To that end I have today started selling again but I will not post my sales as that's a rattle too far and I'm sensitive to all the dreamers.

Very possible there will be a sizeable market crash prior to dreamers 40p. Unfortunately the cumulative delays push things out where this had become a real potential impediment to getting the value we should. Just have to keep fingers crossed.

Most other news will be fwd looking and need to show in figs unless outstanding. Market will do it's usual spike and retrace. B/e would alter that imho.
