Or is it just to ensure they receive their cash once the settlement is completed? If they have word that Ast are being paid to leave Slovenia surely they fear their outstanding money owed goes with it?

Interesting...Align have tweeted they wouldn’t support an payout of less than €25m. They are ascents largest shareholder and therefore will have significant clout with the bod.

Ramping/deramping/opinions aside, Ascent has never had the level of institutional investment it has now. When Colin/Clive/John were involved, this company was a mainly retail held stock, had little to no institutional investment, besides the converted loan notes, which (from what I remember) were accepted in payment of a loan/debt restructure. Make of that what you will.

In my opinion an investment fund would not invest a large sum without doing significant due diligence and risk analysis.

If that is correct it shows around half of the shares sitting in institutional hands.

Hulie, It could be equally argued those costs would not have been incurred if Slovenia hadn’t delayed/blocked proceedings.

The share has been 100/1 diluted twice so it completely possible they paid 150p (dilutions taken into account).

For consideration, the share was consolidated 100/1 within the past 12 months.

I agree. I would imagine it was reached him the past few days. This most likely will have contributed to the opposition trying to table a no confidence. I would imagine the proposal is fairly significant to trigger such a response.

My understanding is it’s the other way around, Hsbc bank is a subsidiary of Hsbc holdings. It certainly does need clarity.
