No idea, but if so, still means that those payments in arrears were for £25M a month for 3 months.

All we can go on is the known facts, Capacity is 7M a week, rising to 14M. Payments for last 3 months averaged around £25M (just checked the august list, which is for July, and that was £22.5M).

As was pointed out to me in another thread, the gov PR talks about Surescreen capacity of 7M a week, rising to 14M a week. It does not say that is the production.

We also know Surescreen have received on average approx £25M a month for the last 3 months. That would not be consistent with 28M tests a month.

The large and small of it is that the new bidstats increase the first calloffs for both Medco and Innova from the DPS by x4, end of.

Who thinks that regulator would type "These values are the theoretical maximums allocated for this expenditure - not guarantees of expenditure." if there was a calloff for ODX ?

Although there are no supplier names mentioned, it doesn't take much to figure it out.

Says it is increasing a 1st call-off that was originally valued @£62,470,000. So Thats a first call-off increase for Medco.
Note that medco have a second call off on bidstat published last week for £325M

States it is raising a call-off from £143,750,000 to 518750000 . So Thats raising the innova call-off to over £500M

Greatscott, good point the gov PR talks about capacity in relation to the figures, my mistake.

Bu we don know they are producing, as it says ODX is partly assembing. We also know that over the last 4 months Surescreen have received £25M each month from DHSC. But no way does £25M a month equate to 7M tests a week, so not supply uk gov at anywhere near their current capacity.

£5 per test would mean 1.25M test a week. £2.50 test would mean 2.5M tests week...so a weekly figure in that range looks likely.

Surescreen is currently producing 7M a week, in 3 months that'll be 14M a week....uk gov said so just yesterday !

If ODX gets 2M a week it'll be a major rerate for the SP and success for the company, but facts are facts, and those that continue to deliberately ignore them so as not to impinge on their hyperbole just look increasingly silly.

ODX capacity is less than 1/3 of surescreen, and will be 1/7th come early 2022.

So other than alphabetically, not sure on what basis ODX finishes first for uk diagnostics.

Dunno how accurate it is, but if I click directors deals at the top of this page, it says CK paid 53.19p in Dec for 35,721 shares. If true, he is not in profit on that deal.

It also indicates he hold over 850K in total.

clearly there was no need for the tweet to be flippant. Just state that "the recent updating of the finder a tender entry was to include the redacted contract, and had no other implications."

That would have resolved the issue, without being suggestive that the SP wasn't about to increase. It was very unprofessional.

gotta always remember that with this gov, they are multiple things in play.

They have come under fire from a couple of MPs for buying loads of stuff from china, and not fulfilling promises regarding sourcing uk tests. Also specifically, ODX has been called out in Hoc for not being supported. So PR yesterday is a way of countering some of that, "look surescreen and ODX are making uk tests".

If you look at the date mentioned at the top of that tweet, says Jun 7th. That day they tweeted a 3 part tweet, and the one they've quoted is the 3rd one, that mentioned the arrangement. All they did was quote the tweet in full.

agreed. Unless someone comes out with the next greatest whizz bang test, and wants to produce it themselves, can't see a takeover.

The buyout of GAD by the gates consortium was pretty much a perfect scenario all round and a quite unusual set of circumstances.
