Hi :-)
Can anyone tell me where to look to see the US share price of Cineworld?
Spread's widened all of a sudden???
Hi :-)
I am not invested in any energy shares at the moment but 3 take my eye.
Harbour is the main favourite.
Does anyone have any thoughts/insight on Energean or Serica?
Those are the other two on my probable list.
Best wishes,
JM

The Government of Peru gave the green light on Friday for the British company Tullow Oil to begin exploration and eventual exploitation of oil on about 1.2 million hectares of the Pacific Ocean, off the coast of the Ancash region.
The contracts with the oil company on fields Z67 and Z68 were approved by the Ministry of Energy and Mines in a decree published in the official newspaper El Peruano.
The two exploration areas are adjacent and located on the high seas, more than 49 miles away from the coast of the Ancash region, in front of the cities of Chimbote, Santa, Casma and Huarmey.
Lots Z-67 and Z-68 are the most southern in the ocean within the strategy that Peru has established to search for oil under the seabed of its north coast.
The most northern ones are already in operation, such as batch Z-2B, run by the company Savia Peru, which produces some 9,700 barrels of crude oil daily.
I think the fact that CNOOC didn't take up their option to purchase half of the asset being sold shows TLW are getting a fair price for it in today's market.
It might have been worth more last year, it might be worth more next year, but right NOW it's worth what someone will pay for it and TLW need the money in the short term or there may not be any TLW left next year to take advantage of (the possibility of) higher asset prices.
The world has changed a lot in the last few months and TLW's priority is to keep it's head above water in the short term.
I vote Yes to the sale :-)
Not sure about that.
As soon as CNOOC didn't take up their right to exercise pre-emption on 50% of the transaction I thought that the deal must be priced right or in TLW's favour.
Not like CNOOC to pass on a good deal!
