my 2 sells at 4:15 were listed as buys. Why can't they get this right?
40,000 sold. 30,000 hold. It'll bloody go up now!
For me anyway. Its decision day 2mo as I've held too many shares in this company since the Coms days. I'm down to 7,000 from 10,000 but if the vibe ain't good, I'm dumping the lot. My average is 120p so no big loss, but a profit would have been nice. I'm still hoping it's going to be positive.
I know it's a transition period but come on, we need regular updates. I need to be reassured that the £21m hasn't burnt a hole in your pocket.
The management of COMS are long gone.
The management of Redstone saved the old COMS from extinction.
The management of Smart better spend my £21m wisely!
I want to see regular rns releases whenever a contract has been won or completed.
I want to see the board buying more shares.
I would like £1m of the £21m given to us long term shareholders that have supported this company through many placements.
I'm watching the cash burn carefully and if £10m goes too quickly, I'm outta here.
Market cap target of between £200m-£400m within 3 years sounds good to me. Long term holders might get rewarded (and some) with mega patience. We deserve it.
Thanks for the update Pete.
I attended an AGM a couple of years back and I asked Mark Braund how close they were to calling it a day. His reply was "very close." He said that they all went home for the weekend to think things through and on Monday, they all decided to continue because, in his words, "how could I explain to people like you that we had just given up!?"
At the time I had £120k invested.
AllyG I feel your pain. I've been here for years and managed to average down to 1.2p (old money). I used to hold 1 million shares but sold out at 1.4p with 300,000 to buy Flow Group (which has been sold with no return to share holders so goodbye to 42K!! [53K total] That's another story) Lets talk new money now; So I still hold 70,000 shares and I'm waiting for the magic 3 get out. I believe it will come. I hoped we'd see 5 by Christmas because of their options, but that's a dream. I'm hoping that the lack of news was because of ulterior motives. Maybe they wanted to hold the price lower for some reason. To let employees invest more at a lower price through the employer scheme. I don't know. I'm plucking at straws. BUT this company is still growing. Lack of news does not mean bad news. It's a healthy company that is concentrating on what it does best. Once the final results are published, expect updates twice a month to push the price upwards. At the end of the day, Mark and his fellow friends will want their options!!
I love the way that my posts get removed when i state the truth. I only post facts, and somebody on here doesnt like it.
Think you've had too much Gin
I can't take a photo of a non event!
I didn't say AP Systems were a scam. The whole take over thing is a scam. They have no money. They are a small computer repair shop in drug fuelled Rhyl. If anything serious comes of this I'll swim from Chester to Rhyl naked!!
Looking deeper, AP Systems Holdings has net assets of 38.12k He is also the director of Swish services, which is based at the same address as AP in Rhyl. He's aged 50 by the way and unless he's just won the Euro Millions, I think he's a Walter Mitty.
I've just looked into AP Systems Holdings. On 18th April 2017 they had 20 in the bank. on 23rd Sept 2017 they had a share split. 10,120 shares at 1 turned into 10,120,000 at 0.1p. David Anderson has a total 100% holding in AP Systems Holdings worth 10,120. This is a scam!!! If he offers shares, they are worthless. It's a dormant company!! I've text him my findings and I've had no reply!
I've been trying to educate myself over this situation but I'm not 100% at the moment. Here's what I surmise so far....... It seems that AP Systems holdings have informed us shareholders of their intent to make an offer for 10,120,000 shares. But there's an error. It states ordinary shares at 0.1p. But since the 100:1 share allocation, they are now listed as ordinary shares 10p. So in effect he's only legally applied for 101,200 shares. lol. Even if the full 10,120,000 were bought by AP Systems, it would still be lower than 50% holding. So no authority of power. I just text Mr David Anderson asking what's happening. I got a reply saying that they can't give market sensitive information. They have to do everything strictly in accordance with the takeover code. If a full offer does occur, I expect it to be nearer 1.80 -2.00. I was holding out for 5.00 which I think we could see within 2 years if we don't see a hostile takeover.
"Finally, part of the proceeds of the Placing will be used to fund the expenses of the Acquisition and the Placing and also as working capital for the enlarged Group as A+K is integrated into the Group. "
In the last placement they mentioned that some of the cash was needed for working capital. There are some pretty big projects going on that take time. Payment for this work won't be coming in until completion which is obviously going to be in the second half. It's not rocket science! All is well. I've been here for years waiting for my magic 5p (£5 now) and it will come. I don't know when and certainly not as quickly as I'd like it to, but hold on long enough (2-4yrs) and it will. The company may not be growing as quickly as the MM want it to, but its a healthy company compared to COMS of old.
Haven't posted for a while, but I've been here most nights, observing. It's a lot quieter than it used to be in the days of uncertainty. Not sure which I prefer to be honest. Some of the reads were interesting as the company nose dived. Now its in recovery, the room has cleared and the chat is mundane. Sorry, but the old school here will relate. I topped up yesterday first thing (don't tell the wife) and passed the 10m goal I was aiming for. I like round numbers. I'll be dropping a few of them at 2p but holding on to the rest for the longer term (5p). OK, maybe much longer. Very happy with the speed and direction of the recovery since Mark and his very capable team took charge. I just hope they can deliver the growth required for the mm to really move this upwards in the long term. Short term we need director buys and more contract news or, as Silver mentioned, this will just trickle back down to 1.4p Benjy
Afternoon all. I'm still a major holder here and been topping up here and there below 1.4p. I'm hoping to attend the AGM this year, depending on dates, and was wondering if anybody else here was considering going? I'm well impressed with progress since Mark and his team took control and I personally am excited for the medium term. I'm not so impressed with the SP over the last 14 months. All looked good early 2016 with a jump to 2p but it's been making pointless dips ever since. I'm holding out for 5p but we are not going to see that until 2019 at the earliest. I'd be happy with 2.5p and steady by year end. Have a great evening you lot.
