Dead right. I think they will all be rammed full immediately after reopening and even though I rarely go to the pub these days (before lockdown) I am planning to help with the ramming. Mind you, I have not yet figured out how to drink through a mask.
The ban on avaristic landlords taking legal action for unpaid rent, even though it will probably mean my dividend from British Land will drop.
I can't see that increased supermarket sales will come close to replacing pub sales but it would be good news that at least some people are staying in full time employment. The BBC are today reporting record numbers of people looking for jobs as fruit and veg pickers. I guess it's a sign of age when you worry more about a shortage of fruit and veg rather than a beer shortage. I've still got beers in my fridge that I put there for Christmas.
