Pearls - I think you are missing the point from Hastings... it's not that renewals and expansions aren't important, it's rather that they should make up a portion of new revenue with the majority of new revenue coming from new deals. That's where the real growth comes from.
The fact that SK has been in seat for over 2 years now and nobody can point to any new deals is what many are finding so concerning for what should be a rapidly growing company. Multiple new deals should have been rolling in each quarter by now, obviously.
