If I was a CEO making my first important impression, after moving into a job 3 months in, I could have played it safe, stating this needs time to work through issues from the previous tenure, of which there are many.

Instead he indicated we should be expectant of significant news (commercial progress) within weeks.

That's very bold, and would require some internal evidence to claim such.

So why do this?

He has no need as there will be no come back, unless he is the real deal. Remember his commercial success previous and connections.

I am actually looking forward to this xmas period with the hope a turn around is on the cards, we'll soon see...

My comment was referring to the the physical progress, as seen in the presentation pictures. That is all. If you feel that makes me gullible, then you must believe all those images are make believe, and we are stupid for accepting what the company formally presents.
