I prefer to give the BOD the benefit of the doubt, and that they, and virtually everyone else on the planet, have been shafted by Putin's ego. Energy bills food distribution and, of course, the suffering of Ukrainians, and Russian soldiers.

Wolfie - I sold all my BOIL @ .25, and have been keeping an eye on them ever since. I expected them to drop a lot quicker and a lot lower than they have. As I've said before, I lack the kahoonas to be a trader but boil is one stock I've been in and out of over the last 4 years and it's been a great little earner - paid for most of my punts in other shares. Although last time I put it all in RIO as I want to gradually move out of AIM stocks - it's been a lot more fun but too risky for my liking.

That said, I would be sorely tempted if it gets a bit closer to 0.1p. I've only ever bought below that i the past - usually 0.6 or 0.7, but those days might be gone?

Don't think you can claim it back but you can offset it against any gains taxible have made on other shares in your fund account (and fair play to you if that's the case in the current market!).

I am tempted to go back into GGP (having sold out at 27p when it was goig up), I think it boomed due mining stocks generally doing well at the time but also benfited greatly from being hailed 'the next EUA'.?

Certainly one to watch but personally feel there're better bargains out there in terms of high risk/ high reward junior miners/exploeres?

Thanks Saint, Avacta was one of the pharma stocks I did well out of during the covid pharma boom. I was trying to trade a bit back then but I quickly descided I lack the kahoonas to be a trader. So looking only for long-ish investments now They might just fit the bill, having the added advantage of doing good at the same time trying to grow my funds.
