They have six wells to build, no point risking a producer while they can build others. Simples.
They are becoming a huge profit making oil producer by Christmas and investors are going to make a lot money.

Although you are against anything fossil fuels related it will actually reduce emissions and environmental impact by extracting our own top quality oil rather than shipping and processing stuff from around the globe.
You cannot run your diesel heavy lump around on thin air and you cannot build it without plastic.... ID10T !

The plan might have changed.
Now they have the planning for four more wells it would make sense to leave HH-1 production flowing and generating money while they build the other four wells now after HH-2/2z.
So HH-1z could be the last of the six wells to be completed on site.

Imagine the SP reaction to HH-2z horizontal successfully in production by Christmas and the announcement that they are going to move directly on to replicating four more times with four new horizontals in January!!!
That'll truly be Kaboom.... only weeks away to that possible news now. GLA

Us long term investors are certainly not ignoring what's happening on site.
Updates on Twitter and very encouraging to see the video of the drill working on HH-2 with the pump pumping away in the background on HH-1 yesterday. I think that video is one to save.... or maybe they can get a better shot today ?
LSE is just a medium for trolls and protest groups to voice their negativity now, so LSE is the one to ignore.

gkb, SS and team are drawing a salary and being awarded options because they are doing the work.

UKOG twitter just posted a new message highlighting that reduced risk with their drill plan.
Simples..... and ignore the trolls... the city will revalue this company when they see the numbers from HH2..... or maybe a high value chap will start building again in anticipation of that revaluation.

LSE not policing the uninvested trolls and this is what happens.

The options plan aligns key employees interests with investors. Everyone wants a strong share price either by being given them as part of your remuneration package or by buying them in the open market. Same result except we don't have to do the work do we.

The spud was successful and the drill is in full operation seven days a week now.
Kimmeridge test output is increasing and by Christmas the combined site output will be 1000+ bopd!!!
Stick that in your calculators investors!

Spudded and yes Kimmeridge between 302-473 bopd. They are opening up the taps on HH-1.

Drilling HH-2 with a plan which mitigates risk by taking out anything left to chance. UKOG using all their knowledge and experience and a brilliant expert team with full access to a great data package.

They've said a couple of times now they need to gather more data on the exact Kimmeridge structure below Horse Hill to best know how to direct the HH1z horizontal drill.

Agree, if you have pot of money to decide between ISA and SIPP, for me it's ISA every time.
ISA = No legislation no how much and when you can use it and certainly from a UKOG point of view now tax to pay on the huge profit we're set to make.

I also have a SIPP but that was transferred from a money purchase work place pension... funds never going to grow as fast as I can make money myself.... you can just mirror the top fund purchases and not pay the fees.... simple.... OR buy UKOG and make huge money :-)

Your are wrong Skwiz, they cannot go bust.
They are consistently pumping and selling oil daily now as an oil producer.
They have the licence to do that for another 25 years now and scale it up.
So they are already profitable but in a rapid expansion phase so all profit is reinvested to make more money.
Not sure when they'll be making money faster than they can spend it but I guess that'll be in the next two years and then we'll be getting our dividends. :-)
So many reasons to get in now at the start of this emerging mid-cap.
