Great result. Lots of 'technical' excuses from SCC mucking it up.
They'll be under the spotlight to get it right next time!
Recommended to approve by all officers and no legal grounds to refuse....even if their wife says so :-)

It's confirmed from several sources that they had to defer to the legal team since they mucked it up.
It'll probably be ruled exceptional circumstances as Ash implied and they have to re-do it.

Nothing posted yet so it's obviously difficult for them to admit they mucked it up!

DO your research and ignore the trolling noise on here..... just encouraged to create arguement for ad revenue.

Do the numbers and you'll see in a rising oil price market the SP is well below the NAV just for HH-1.

So many more revenue streams, add them up..... don't let the shorters and swampies put you off a well researched investment case.

Nice to see the market waking up to UKOG potential a little.

The had planned to be doing Loxley Gas over the coming months and maybe the plan could get on track very shortly once SCC have had a shake up...... looking likely now since the lawyers are reading them the riot act!!!! :-)

We hit 0.5p on anticipation of Loxley so it should be a relatively quick bounce back to that.

But now we know Turkey is on the cards..... Loxley could fund Turkish operations and this will snow ball......GLA

So their meeting may not be considered safe and secure and would need to repeat I guess.

This is all generated by Swampy/trolls to destabilise the company and bring it down.... usual swampy tactic.

Actual the company has faced bad luck on many fronts and mostly not operational or internal fault.
Branching in Turkey is spreading the risk and increasing the asset base across more regions is very smart.
The company is growing and expanding...... that's the CEO's job.
The share price will take care of itself and investors need to appreciate and evolving enterprise takes time.
Diversification is a very good step by Stephen and as an investor I fully support the latest actions!!!
As long as they do not spread the resources too thinly so that core established assets suffer this can only be a good thing.
Ignore the swampies, wait and hold IMHO.

Good stuff, and so once UKOG have a footprint and proven track record they could be invited to expand to other plays within Turkey. UK assets might become just nice to have alongside key core assets in Turkey.
Should be an interesting transformational year ahead!

As always unless you are buying or selling the SP does not matter today for long term investors.
Today is an absolute bargain buy if they can deliver the Turkish wells.
And they are talking in months not years.... in fact Turkish law forces them to deliver on that if the build a successful well.
It'll be nice to have the law forcing us to profit :-)
So invest now and wait...... or wait and watch and try to buy in when they deliver.....simples.....holding strong and will buy more on the back of today's moves as funds allow.... retirement planning :-)

Good post Danpoe, I'm with you on that. If you are not happy with the company and their direction then you shouldn't be invested. Invest in something you believe in and have confidence in.
I'm fully behind UKOG and the plans.
They have huge assets but only a small team currently to bring those assets to commerciality. This will scale up as resources develop and allow..... just like any small emerging company.....soon to be mid cap Oil and Gas company. GLA

Not quite. The Weald is very much alive but needs more time and effort.
UKOG appear to betting on the quicker Turkish equation for the next hit, which as you say seems sensible.
Once that revenue stream is up and running, could be by year end, then money could flow back to Horse Hill, IoW and Loxley once the old folks home is repopulated!!!
