Our once famouse pub culture started to end after the banks crashed,back in 2008.

government hiked taxes/duties on booze

councils hiked taxes

breweries hiked price

so a perfect storm was seeded....sadly

where i live ,around 70% of pubs....are gone.

taxes/prices....were the death nell.
